Light it up!

Growing up, we used the same light bulbs for everything. You know the ones, 40 watt with a big bulb. If you were lucky they would last a few years. But you used them for lamps, ceiling lights, spot lights etc.

Now, many things need tiny bulbs. The big bulbs seem to be a thing of the past and I'm actually said about that. They were much cheaper and worked out very well. Everything in my home, besides two lamps, use these tiny bulbs, so I guess I better accept it!

Once the box arrives, you see how well they are packaged. It's also a perfect way to store the ones that aren't in use and possibly other small ones of similar shape. I'm always worried these are going to break and I love the added protection.

These bulb are flame shaped at the tip and are 40 watt, E12 warm bulbs. For bulbs, they actually seem pretty solid and may withstand a fall, but i'm not testing it to find out. With the frosted and flame tip together, they look beautiful.

My first stop to bulb-ville, was in my bonus daughter's room. We just got her a new lamp and of course, these bulbs fit just right. A wee bit taller than the lamp, but I think it adds to the effect.

I've been replacing bulbs all day and getting much better light. I have to say, these are great bulbs. Pick up a pack for your home, at the link below.

Felt Letter Board

Holidays can be amazing, overwhelming, and maybe even horrible. That all depends on you well..and your family of course.

It's obvious when you are having a get together but a fun sign like this is a great way to show your love.

This 10x10 felt Letter board is awesome. You have more than enough letters for anything you want to spell. They do seem a bit flimsy but stay in well.

Friends giving is awesome and everyone could find the food thanks to this handy board. I'm going to keep it out and write something new everyday.

You can hang the board or sit it out on the included easel. I believe it looks gorgeous either way and it did it's job during our Friends giving. Get your own!!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have amazing holidays.

That's not a sardine can, it's my purse!

Weird purses are my thing. My favorite ever, was an animal cracker box with a string, when I was in high school. It was just big enough to hide my cigs and lighter and a little bit of money.

The last few years, I have been using a Ninja Turtle shell lunch pail as a purse and I love it, but I needed something else, something new and weird of course.

This sardine purse is just what I was looking for. It definitely has the weird and different factor going for it!

It has a a few pockets on the inside, one is a zipped pocket and the others are open. The outside feels like a nice plastic, like some book bags.

It gives the appearance of a sardine can on the top, but that is the only part. Take that off and it could be a whole new bag. My only wish, was that it opened like a sardine can instead of a normal purse. Other than that, I love it!

As always thank you so much for reading. Please comment below and tell me about your Thanksgiving or about your favorite purse, weird or normal. Thank you so much for reading!

Roll on the Pink Champagne.

Scents have always just been handed to me my whole life. I have never went out and smelled a bunch of different perfumes to know what I like.

Vanilla Fields was always my go to scent and still is sometimes today. I've been wanting to venture out though and I thought this would be the perfect start.

My first impression of this perfume was awesome from the start.  It comes in black and pink filler, which I will reuse for an upcoming baby shower. They put a lot of thought into a simple thing, but I love it.

Next, was the open box that shows the bottle and the name of the perfume. Jaqua Pink Champagne. It's packaged perfectly for a present straight from them.

The bottle is a roll on instead of the classic spray. It glides on easily and the scent stays for a a few hours. This is the perfect way to try new scents or cover up a bad scent, on the go.

My only issue? I hate the scent. It is horrible to me, but I have a few friend's who love it, so maybe you will too! They have other scents as well, so check them all out at the link below!

Thank you so much for reading, I couldn't do this without you. Please leave any comments below and have an amazing Thanksgiving!

Stay sweet with comfy feet.

When I was young, I was playing barefoot on the neighbor's old porch. My flip flops were flung somewhere in the yard and I was having the best time. Then 'it' happened.

It being a huge splinter in the bottom of my foot. I cried and cried just like a baby. Please just leave it in! Once it came out, my feet rarely did again. It took ten years before I wore flip flops again and slippers and sandals were out of the question as well.

I'm getting braver though and I wanted to try out slippers this winter, instead of living in my shoes. These are actually men's slippers from Foot Tech, but I will get into that later.

These slippers are grey with blue lining and the bottom is covered with lovely memory foam. It's more like a cloud than an indentation and it's pretty nice. A quick once over and you see that they have no back.

The bottoms grip well and I don't find myself slipping and sliding into rooms without carpet. That also means they will grip outside as well. I have never tried them in the rain or on the slick ground though.

Now, I got these for my husband because they are men's slippers as I said. He is a 13-14 and these only go up to 11-12. He can fit in them but it is a pretty tight fit and not at all comfortable to him. The moral of this long story? They fit very true to size, if you wear bigger than a 13, skip these, if not, check the link out below. They have many different color combos to choose from.

As always thank you so much for reading and happy almost Thanksgiving. Have an amazing day!

I "C" a new pillow in your life soon!

I thought sleeping was hard before Fibro. Now, I wish i could go back to those days. The days I could actually sleep all night. I wasn't waking up in pain every single time, I'll tell you that.

For awhile, I used my husband to prop up on. Over time though, the pain has gotten to be too much and I moved to using a pillow between my knees. Everything else still hurt.

I've been wanting a full body pillow and I was delighted to find this one. It's not what I envisioned, it's so much better. Instead of a straight pillow, it curves down like a C.

All you have to do is position yourself inside the way you want to lay, and the pillow should do the rest. It supports your back, neck, legs, and even your arm, if you sleep that way.

Now, one thing I have to point out, this thing is HUGE. We have a queen sized bed and it takes up over half of it. Definitely be careful if you cosleep and have a smaller bed. You don't want your husband or wife waking up to a pillow to the face.

My only issue with this pillow, is the fact that I'm a side sleeper and there is way too much filling in the neck. Luckily, the pillow does unzip so you can take out or put in as much filling as you like.

They call this a pregnancy pillow, but it has been perfect for my aches and pains from Fibro. I believe this pillow can help a larger number of people than just pregnant women. I'm sleeping better for sure!

If this sounds like the perfect pillow for you, head on over to Amazon and find out more about it, by clicking the link below.

What kind of sleeper are you? Ever since I had kids, I can no longer sleep on my back or stomach. Anyone else have a problem like this? Let me know down below. As always thanks for reading everyone!

Time to put the skeletons back in the closet.

Nothing upsets me more, than another Halloween gone. Black, goth, and horror are a few of my favorite things. I'm never ready to let it go.

When I can find Halloween stuff in the off season, I have too have it. The same can be said for those who love Christmas or Easter as well. I say, we have passion, you may just say we're crazy. Either way, I'm getting ready for next Halloween.

When you think of string lights, you think of boring Christmas lights on a tree. As a reviewer, I have seen so many different types of string lights, but none like these skeletons.

The skeletons are attached by the head and that is the only part of the bodies, that light up besides the chest. The pieces don't bend, but the arms and legs can swing freely.

Since they are waterproof, you can hang them inside or out with no worries. The wind will add the perfect touch and give the illusion of moving skeletons.

It does need 3 AA batteries that aren't included, so of course you have to make sure to hide that power pack somewhere when you display the lights.

I'm back and forth on this one. The lights are so powerful in the heads and chests, that they wash out what you're looking at. Hopefully you can tell what I mean by the picture. I was only 5 feet away though, they may get clearer the farther away you go.

But the skeletons are beautiful and you definitely do not have to use the light up feature. The details are good, not spectacular, but good and all in all they seem to be pretty well made. Great set of lights, I just wish the bulb was a little dimmer. You decide, check them out:

As always, thank you so much for reading and leave any comments below.

Ellie Claire Journal Set

As a young girl, there were a few things I could count journal, and my faith. Over the years, they have both lessened, but are still very much a part of my life.

I wish I could go back to the days that I ate Sunday breakfast with my grandparents, stopped at CVS for candy, and then church. Life was so much easier then.

When you think of journals, you probably think plain and boring. That's what I go to at least. But these journals, really changed my mind.

Illuminate Your Story

This beautiful journal teaches you how to draw different letters, in pretty ways. Plus, plenty of empty pages for journaling. There is a great mix of both.

I used multiple types of pens, and even a marker, and none of them bled through, even the gel pen. In the back they include a space for keepsakes, and a built in bookmark.

Faith and Lettering Journal

This book, includes inspirational phrases, and how to make them. They include spots for tracing, and drawing out the phrases on your own.

Plus, plenty of pages to journal in. My favorite quote from the journal, is below.

The Illustrated Word

Last but not least, is this beautiful coloring journal. It is detailed all around, from cover to cover. As soon as you open it, you find lovely pages to color and learn from.

The journal pages, even include pictures, but they are already colored. This is the perfect way for stressed out faith based women, to calm down.

I'm in love with all of these books and I think my daughters will enjoy them just as much. I was pleased with mini artists and these journals are perfect for them. I do not have a link for you guys, but definitely makes sure you look them up on Instagram @EllieClaireGifts

Thank you so much for reading everyone and I look forward to sharing with you again, soon! Please, check out my other posts while you're here!

Let's fly away with Meigo.

I have never been on a plane or even near a plane in my life. I'm terrified of heights, and of course, a plane crash. Who wouldn't worry about something like that?

My parents on the other hand, have been on planes, many times throughout my life. I remember being obsessed with rockets and NASA for a bit, that may be the only way I leave ground. HAHA

Meigo, is an amazing toy company that not only sells toys, they sell imagination, fun, and education. They put a lot of love into all of their products and these awesome planes are no different.

As you look them over, you see they have metal die cast bodies with plastic torpedos on the bottoms of three. The metal part is great, I can't see kids breaking the bodies, unless they drop them pretty hard.

The plastic pieces though? Now those are a different story. As a reviewer, I always do a stress test on toys. I bend and poke and throw and see how they hold up. The torpedos can snap right off with minimal pressure.

With that being said, I would recommend these planes to older children, or supervised play with the little kiddos, just to be safe!

Now, remember when I said educational? Not only are these beautiful moving planes, they also pull back. Kids have to learn how they work and exactly how to do that. Once they do, you should see the looks on their little faces. Hand eye is very important and so is simply learning a new method of play.

All in all, these planes are great. The USAF theme over part of them is a beautiful touch. Another thing I love, there is a pink for little sister or even little brother! Everyone gets to play. Please, go and check these out at the link below, while you're there, have a look around at their other stuff.

As always, thank you so much to everyone who comes and reads my ramblings. You don't know how much you all mean to me. Have a beautiful upcoming Veteran's day!

Show off your bling!

Some trends stick around and some trends go back and forth. When I was in high school, the plastic goth chokers were in, and I had to have one.

After some goading, I managed to talk my grandma into buying me one, on the way to church. Yes, I did that, don't judge me. HAHA. Recently, that trend came back and I'm super excited.

Rappers wearing big chains, is another trend that has made a come back. Yes it has been around but it use to be huge. Basically, it is a normal necklace, possibly oversized, on an oversized chain and it probably costs more than your home.

The great thing about this necklace, you get bling, without looking like a rapper. My husband is a 36 year old white  man, a rapper is the last thing her needs to look like at this point in life.

But like I said, this bling is for everyone. It is a 3mm CZ Cross necklace with a beautiful spiral looking thick chain. I don't believe you could break this chain, the clasp maybe but not the chain.

Speaking of the clasp, I really love the clasp on this necklace. Instead of a simple loop, that breaks apart, the loop is built in to the end and much easier to take on and off.

So, whether you are a 36 year old white man, or a broke rapper, you will love this necklace. While you're over there looking at this one, take a look around at their others. It would make a beautiful Christmas present.

I have told you a lot about my old obsessions and I really want to hear yours', please comment and let me know and of course about this awesome necklace.
