V&M valery Madelyn Spooky Wine Bottle

I didn't think I could be any more excited about Halloween, after the spiderweb came, but I was wrong.

Like I said before, I try to go all out, ever since we got this place, but only for halloween.

We love to be scared, but you have to have a bit of sweet with your scary. I think this wine bottle is the perfect definition of that.

It comes in a wrapped in plastic, foam, box, and the shipping box. It will get to you in one piece.

The bow on mine was sitting at the bottom of the bag, it had come off during shipping. A bit of glue, and it was good as new.

The bottle seems to be frosted or painted white and the size of a normal wine bottle. it is light enough to be tipped over so make sure you put it on a flat surface.

I'm in love with the image on the side. Two skulls getting ready to kiss. It would make a beautiful tattoo and it looks gorgeous in the glow.

Pop three AAA batteries in the bottom and it will light up and laugh when touched or moved. You get three good laughs and it is pretty creepy.

Last but not least, the cork. Like any good Halloween decor item, it has a 3D skull. The details are nice and I love the look. Pop it off and of course the laugh is louder and it shines more light.

I'm in love with this bottle. It's going to stay out all year long as a permanent part of the decor. They have a bunch of other cool items as well. Make sure you check out this bottle and then check out their store for more!

Does anyone DIY with glass or glass bottles? I have been interested in it for a long time and just never took the step. Please tell me about your experience with it or with anything you like to craft with.

I received this product in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Spiderweb you want to keep!

Halloween has grown to be my favorite. You get to dress up and be something or someone else for a day or even the whole month.

I love everything about it from the decorating to handing out candy. Every year my husband and I dress up and have a blast. This year..Skittles Pox! Our first real couple costume. My outside always gets decorated, last year it was all free or DIY and it was amazing.

I had a spider web last year, but it came out way too thin and wasn't easy to pull apart, without it breaking. I have only played with this for a little bit, but it seems to spread apart easily and even seems a bit thicker.

I planned on putting it outside on my deck, but it also looks really good inside as well. There is so much you can do with this spiderweb, you just have to have a bit of imagination.

One cool thing about this web, is that the fact that you get fake spiders as well. So many of them, just give you the web. These babies are in there too, you have to really pull to get them out. i think they will stay perfectly even in the wind outside.

I'm so read to start decorating for Halloween. Is september too early?? I really like this web and I think I better get a few more bags. If you need some, head on over and check it out!

Getting a Reese's or a full size candy bar is a thing of the past, but I use to love it and I never gained weight back then. What about you, what was your favorite treat? Or costume? I always ended up as a witch. lol

Quick dry with Youphoria.

Yoga is pretty new to my life. When I started my weight loss journey, I also started my yoga journey.

Of course, I had to do all the ones for people with chronic pain, but man, yoga is amazing. After just a few weeks, I was more flexible and it even kicked up my weight loss.

My favorite yoga spot, is the back yard at my friend's house. We go out, turn on the music and just shut up for about half an hour. I hated driving home and getting sweat all over my seat.

The first time I took this towel, I wished it entered my life sooner. The microfiber soaks it all up, I almost feel like I've showered... almost hahaha.

Can we talk about this color? I never knew how beautiful mint could be. Plus, the accent with the grey, is gorgeous.

At 20 x 40, it's perfect to throw over your shoulders after a workout or yoga session. They have 2 other sizes as well. If you follow the blog, you saw the biggest one, that I often use as a yoga mat, since I don't have an actual one.

Once again, the stitching is perfect, as is the color. It came really soft, and it was still soft after a few washings. I have to say, I'm really impressed with the quality from this company. make sure you check them out!

Make sure you check it out at the link above! before you do that though, tell me something. Favorite yoga pose..workout..weoght loss tip..etc. I'm in a plateau and I need the tips.

As always, thank you so much for reading everyone. I couldn't do this without you!

Keep the kids out!

One thing no one tells you when you have a baby, is how much they get into stuff. When those terrible two's hit, your cabinets can get cleaned out in seconds.

Safety devices are more than just for your sanity. They protect from pinched fingers, sharp corner to the eye, or a toy in a socket. These devices, are needed!

This set has the whole mixture. Cabinet locks, plug in covers, and edge covers. Everything seems to be made really well and they are packed in nicely.

The cabinet locks have both adhesive, and spots for them to be screwed in to the cabinets. I went ahead and did both for a nice tight seal, but I'm sure either or would work fine. They went in with ease and a quick flick of the device and you are in!

You get four sharp edge covers in this set. They are a silicone mold that just slides right on. they also come with adhesive strips, to make sure they stay nice and tight to the table.

Last but not least, the plug in covers. They seem to be made well and the forks don't seem fragile. Getting them in and out is a bit of a challenge, but that's no surprise with plug in covers. The need for these is pretty obvious.

All in all, I believe this is a good set. They installed quickly without much fuss. make sure you leave 12 hour drying time, so you may want to install these BEFORE you need them.

Need a set or want to find out more about these? Head on over and check them out here:

Be wise, and get Wiez earbuds.

Music has really changed in my life time. Listening to it, is definitely different as well. Back in the day, my parents had the combo player. Record player, 8 track, cassette, and radio.

Most of the time the speaker wires got cut somehow, or they stopped working and the whole thing was a wash. Next came Walkmans. We loved those things, but looking back, they weren't the best. One bump and you were scratching your CD. Unless you turned on the bump protection, and that ate up your battery.

But with the Walkman, came earbuds. So very simple and boring back in the day. Now you can get some amaziing headphones and earbuds. The technology has definitely stepped up in my life time.

These earbuds from Wiez, are definitely a step up. They fit in the ear and also go over the ear at the same time. They are wired, which makes them easy to throw over your shoulders like a necklace when you're done with them.

The first thing you notice about these earbuds, is how powerful they are. The bass these give you, rival the bass on bluetooth speakers. I've reviewed many earbuds, and this is hands down the best bass.

The earbuds look good and seem to be well made. I have twisted and moved them trying to break them and they haven't budged.

Now, I have praised these earbuds, and I love them, but this isn't a total love story. These earbuds are designed for sport, to not come off when you are running and exercising, but it doesn't quite work out that way. While these are great for lounging at home, they aren't so great in other situations.

My husband bends, climbs, and moves a lot at his job. The first day I got these, he took them to work. The loud environment, makes for a different review experience. While he loves the sound and especially the bass, he said the buds kept popping out of and off of his ear. By lunch, he gave up on them.

Riding his bike, even gives him the same outcome. While they look good for sport, these are better for just lounging around and not really moving much.

Regardless, The sound and bass.. I know I know, you keep talking about it. Of course I do! If you could hear it, you would too. You need to hear it! Check them out at the link below!

All slicing, no dicing.

Going to Grandma's as a kid was always amazing. One certain time was the best though, the times I smelled those amazing smells. When she was baking pies.

Usually I just got to taste, but sometimes, I got to watch her make them. Even as a kid, I watched how long it took to get the apples around. Which, is the exact reason, I don't make Apple pies now.

I've been seeing these slice and core combos for years now, but this is my first time using one. Now this, was an experience.

But first, let's talk about the gadget! the middle, or work section, is nice and big, and seems to be really well made. You'd have to have a huge apple, to not be able to use this on it.

The handles are amazing. Most products don't care about those of us with Arthritis, pain, or even just our comfort. Chef Remi, gives us a nice silicone padding, which feels good on the hands.

It comes with an info paper zip tied to it, which was very annoying. I was able to rip the paper off, but had to burn off the zip ties. They need to look into a simple tag and string combo.

Now, in order to use this tool, pick an apple, wash it up, and sit it on the table. Simple right? The next steps are even easier. Simply center the tool on top of the apple (stem through hole), push down until it cuts all the way through the apple, and finally, push the pieces until they fall out the bottom.

If you are making a pie, eating them, or doing any other activity, where you need the apples peeled, do that before you slice and you will be good to go.

Pros:
Slices and cores in minutes.
Nice padded handles.
Easy to use.
Arthritis friendly.
Well made.
Nice look.

Cons:
Doesn't cut all the way through the apple.
Apples get stuck.
Zip tie tag.

The pro's outweigh the cons on this one. I am always saying this, but i am in love! I'm going to make an apple pie for Thanksgiving this year, a real homemade from scratch apple pie...it's been years! Please, check out the link below!

I love apple pie, but my favorite was the peanut butter roll. So much sugary goodness! What about you? What did your grandma or mom make, that you just love? Do you make it now?

Don't just detangle your hair, candylove it!

Growing up, my mom always cut my hair short. I always got the same thing "If you won't take care of it, we are cutting it off." being a kid with thick hair is not fun.

One shower would tangle it up (still does) and it takes FOREVER to comb out. I thought that nightmare was over..until I had kids and found out, their hair is just like mine. Karma.

Lately though, we have been getting my step daughter pretty regularly and she has nothing here. I think this brush will be perfect for her. I does work for our thick hair, but I think it will be perfect for her thin hair.

Not only does this brush work, it is also great on the eyes. The pink really pops, and it actually isn't a bad shade either. the egg shape is fun as well and easy to fit in big and small hands alike.

Once you crack it open, you find some inverted bristles on one side, and a mirror on the other.

To use the brush, all you have to do is turn it over and find the hole. Once you've done that, just push up enough to pop them out. Don't worry if you push too much, I've done it, it pops back in. I had a mini heartache over it while testing the durability.

The best part about this brush? The adorable bristles! They are all wavy, fun, and rainbow. perfect for little ones at home or for adults and kids alike on the go.

I really like this brush. It seems like it can withstand a few drops to the floor with out harming the mirror or breaking the cover.

My only issue with it, is cosmetic. Mine came with a white line on the front and it is kind of off putting. If you get one of these, make sure you don't scratch them on anything or do whatever they did to make the mark.

Other than that, I don't have any complaints! Make sure you check it out on and Amazon. If pink isn't for you, they also have other colors.

As a kid, I always dreamed of being a  beauty queen. the short hair made that impossible. So when my youngest was one I took her and put her in a baby version. She won prettiest eyes. Have you ever lived through your kids or has someone done it to you? Let me know in the comments below. As always, thank you so much for reading!

Let Half Dome keep you warm!

Growing up, we never went camping. I believe I went to camp one time and that was it. We just weren't into sleeping on the ground and becoming one with nature.

Over the years though, I have tried it a few times and it isn't so bad. What is bad, is when you aren't prepared for a cold night camping.

This sleeping bag will make sure you're prepared for close to freezing temps. It includes a hood, so your head will stay warm while you are sleeping as well.

When you open it, you see a nice poufy layer waiting for you. It reminds me of the poufy jackets, and it felt amazing! I almost forgot I was laying on the ground.

My husband is over 6 foot tall and it does fit him, but since there are two different zippers (one on each side), he can unzip the bottom and let his feet out, without unzipping the while bag. It also helps incase one of the zippers faulters.

We went out to the camp ground over the weekend and were able to get one night in, with it, before it rained. It was about 50 degrees that night and definitely chilly. I was nice and comfy and then my hubby spooned his way in with me. Now that's a close fit! Hahaha

The cutest part of this whole deal? They included a sleep mask. I have never seen this before. The idea is intertesting. I mean obviously in the woods, I won't be using one. Camping in the back yard? Maybe. In my bed? Oh yeah!

If you want a well made sleepign bag, that will keep you warm, this is it. You will be snuggled to sleep with the ease of the pouf and the hood. This is a great bag, check it out!

Torment of Rachel Ames

First off, I want to start out by saying, this book fell into my "Not yet shipped" folder and has been lost for months.

I seriously wish I would have found it months ago, it is one of my favorite's from Mr. Gunhus. His books aren't always my thing, but this one..I like this one.

As always, Mr. Gunhus is able to teach you a lesson, make you emotional, and totally fool you until almost the end of the book.

That being said, Rachel Ames, is this book. As it goes along, it has tones of the Shining and that one, where Kathy Bates kidnaps her favorite writer.

But then.. then you get the curve ball. It starts to come together slowly and there are aha moments before you get slapped with the truth or the lesson of the book.

I know that is super vague, but I hate spoilers and this book is so hard to explain without going to far into it. Just know, you have to forgive yourself, for things that are out of your hands.

I really enjoyed this book and I think you will too! Please go and check it out on his website, and look at his other books as well.
