If you have been following along with the previous posts, you will see that this one goes right along with the theme. Love, heart, happy, Valentine's day, whatever theme you decide is probably right.
Heck, this one even uses the leftovers of Post 1 in this series. Saving money will always be important and if I can make it out of things I already own.. let's do it! So, jumping right into this one, here is what you need:
Tape
Trash Bag Top
Scissors
This one is super simple and like I said I already had the top of the trash bag from the earlier post.
Start out by folding the bag and cutting it into a heart, the bigger the better. That way when you unfold it it will unfold into a heart.
Before you unfold it though, cut notches all around it, you can do a lot or just a few, it is really up to you.
Once they are all cut, open it up and lay it flat on the table. You could stop right here and hang it this way if you want, it does look good and would hang easily.
But, what I did, was simply tied two pieces together all the way around. You can tie one with itself or you can tie it to the one beside it. You may want to do it on the rest of the trash bag to see what you like before doing it on the final product.
Once you have that all done, you can decorate it any way you like. Markers, glitter, tissue paper heart etc would all look good on this heart. I decided to go the plain route, it looks really pretty.
After that, just find a place to put it, I chose to hang it on a door that always stays shut. It is on a nail, but you still need some tape so the edges don't droop.
Super simple right? I have to say it looks really nice and it only took a few minutes. Let your imagination run wild with this one. What kind of DIY do you like?
I always try to start a conversation in the comment section, fingers crossed that today is the day. Thank you for reading everyone, have an amazing day.

DIY Valentine's Day Window Heart Art
Valentine's Day has been in stores since the day after Christmas. They really know how to shove it in our faces don't they? I know what you're thinking, I am shoving it in your face too. Well that is true, but it is only about 2 weeks away, so I think that is acceptable.
People ask why I do so much with trash bags, and that is pretty simple, I already have some on hand. We bought a bunch when they were on clearance and I have almost went through all of them. Most of my crafts are stuff I have on hand, we have no money so it's the only way. I hope you enjoy this one, it doesn't get much easier than this one.
Here is what you need:
Window
Decor Tape
Scissors
That's it, all you have to do is put it together and that is interesting and probably the hardest part. Make sure you pick the colors you want. My tape comes right off, I tested a piece for about a week and it came right off, so always test it first and make sure it won't hurt your window or mirror.
I cut these hearts by eye as you can tell. This experience has taught me that hearts are not my thing when it comes to tape. They are definitely all different and fun. I love them, that's enough for me.
Do anything you want, you can make any shape or word, do what looks good to you and of course have fun with it. I really need to make a run for more of this tape, it wors well for crafting.
Do you have a special crafting tool? I want to hear about it and where I may be able to buy it if I want. Please let me know in the comment section. Thank you so much for reading, I appreciate each and every one of you. have an amazing day!

DIY Valentines Day Flag
This is the year of decor. I decided that this year, I'm going to explore DIYing for every major holiday. Nothing crazy of course, I'm not going all out for Groundhog's day or anything but I am going to spice the place up a bit for others.
Valentine's day is a super simple and a fun place to start. Some may say I have an unhealthy obsession with hearts and the word love, but, in my defense, they are the best. This is part one in my Valentines DIY series, ENJOY!
Now, what do you need to make your flag? Just like all the flags before, you don't need much, or you may need a lot, it depends on how you choose to decorate your flag. I used:
White Trash Bag
Outdoor Small Flag Stand
Markers
Decor Tape
Google Image
Scissors
Double Sided Tape
For this one, I actually cut the handle section off, instead of keeping it on like I normally do. You can cut either side, I was just using the handle for a later craft. Make sure you measure the size first, so you know how big to cut your flag. Remember, you have to affix it with tape so leave about 3-4 inches just in case.
After that, simply lay it flat and draw on your image. I got mine from Google, but you can do anything you want. You can also add words or phrases. Mine is staying up until the end of Feb. so the hearts were the easiest way to go.
Next I finished up with the tape. If you use tape, it really is harder than it looks to shape the hearts, but I just say that each one has character. You can do any decorating you want right here.
Once that is done, you are ready to take it outside and put it on the flag pole. I laid it down and put the double sided tape on, put it over the pole, and then expose the other side of the double sided tape and press together. Fasten at the bottom and you are all done.
You can have a lot of fun with this one, decorate it any way you like. As always you will see a new flag here next month, but you can always have fun making your own. Please tell me if you do and show me if you can add pictures. I have so much fun with these and I hope you do too! Let me know below. Thank you so much for reading everyone.

Treat your sweet to Veronica's Treats this Valentine's Day.
Valentine's day, day of love or man made Hallmark holiday? I think it really depends on the person and personal history. For years, that day and the whole month really were hated by me. Before I met my husband, I chose some real losers and holidays started to mean nothing.
Now that I am in a happy relationship, it could go either way. If we are broke, I couldn't care less, but if we have a little money, I better at least get a card. It seems silly though, you hsould show love all year around, but it is the perfect time to remind that person that you care.
Before I start talking about these delicious cake pops, I have to give you a little background on the company. Veronica's Treats started in 2003, they have since become the largest mail order bakery in New England. They have been featured on the Today Show twice, and were Rachael Ray's treat of the day. Aside from that they have been included in celebrity gift baskets, swag bags, and they work for companies like 1-800-FLOWERS and Zazzle. They feature hand made beautiful treats. Cake pops are just one product they offer, they also have Oreo Cookies, Brownies, Photo/logo and hand decorated cookies, among other things.
Now, on to these beautiful cake pops. They are a ball of cake, that seems to have been hand dipped and hand decorated. The best way I can explain the taste of these pops, is imagine brownies that you take out right before it starts to get dry, but right after it is runny. They are so moist and amazing.
I got all the same flavor, but I know they have a few others, including red velvet and lemon. My family and I are very happy with the chocolate that we got. It is a few bites, so don't worry that it is just one and done.
I believe these would be perfect for Valentine's Day. You will have to order pretty soon to get it in time for your special love. They even included a 15% code for you guys, use code: DBBP15 at checkout. Head over there right now and check them out.

My overall review of these cake pops..AMAZING, probably the best cake pops I have ever tasted. The cake was moist and not dry, the outside shell wasn't hard and it wasn't too sweet either. Plus the decor is beautiful, you can tell someone put their love into each and every one. I recommend everyone buys treats from Veronica's Treats!
Thank you so much for reading everyone. With that day of love coming up, I need DIY gift ideas for my husband. If you know of any or you have any questions about Veronica's Treats, please let me know in the comments. Have an amazing day everyone.
I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

My First Lighting Job.
We moved into our home two Halloweens ago. At first glance, it appears that this place is amazing and in great shape. After living here for awhile though, you really see everything that needs fixed
I have been working to fix and add things since we moved in, when I can afford it or when I get review products. This time, I got one that the company just randomly sent. With no return address or any instructions, I can not review them. I can't legally review them until they do, so I will not be including a brand name with this post, until they do.
These lights are 10 ft in length. The power cord is pretty long with a nice big on/off and dimmer switch. It is very minimal but you will see the cord.
The individual lights have double sided tape on them. All you have to do is peel and stick. I chose to put mine underneath my kitchen cabinets. You can place them anywhere you need them including the kitchen, bathroom, wash room, closets etc. Anywhere you need more light.
Make sure you have a plan before going in. I got lucky and mine came out to be the perfect size for what I needed. Ten feet doesn't seem as big when you look at these.
Once you figure out your pattern, go one by one. Take the tape off the end LED and stick it to the clean surface. push it up to make sure the tape sticks well. Then, simply go around sticking it to your surface.
You can then use the switch to turn it on and off, the light is pretty bright this way, or you can use the dimmer part, by holding the button. It will take it from low to high and then when you hold it again, it will go from high to low. I like the softer light, they remind me a lot of the lights in a hospital.
So far, I am loving these lights, they have stuck to the surface with none falling so far. I'm annoyed that I can see the cord, but it is totally worth it. I need to get another set for my closet.
I need good tips on how to fix my home on little to no budget. Please leave me some tips below. Thank you so much for reading, have an amazing day.

Valentine's Day DIY Wreath
Valentine's day, day of love or Hallmark holiday? I never have been a fan of the day. Many of my love quests turned out horribly and to me, it was just another day. Buy me things every day, not because you feel like you have to for that day.
There are good memories of Valentine's day that I think we can all share. The boxes at school. You know what I mean, before popularity was a thing and you gave everyone a Valentine. If you were lucky you would get a special one. At my high school they had roses you could buy for people, it was always fun to get a rose to take home. That was pre Bachelor of course.
This wreath is pretty much the same as the other ones, I made, in case you haven't checked them out, it is super simple and pretty cute. Gather up colored bags, scissors, a hanger, and decorations, and we can get started.
First, take the bags and cut them up into the size strips that you want. It is easiest to cut up as many as you can before you get started. But I can't tell you how many you will need so you will have to cut more later.
Set them aside and pick up the hanger. Right now, just shape it as a circle, mine is a heart, but I shaped it afterwards. It is a lot easier to keep it in the shape you want it in when you do it that way.
Next, start tying the strips to the hanger. If they are too big, you can always trim them later. Just continue around until you fill up the hanger with your strips.
After that I shaped the hanger into my heart. The strips were pretty long, so I trimmed the inside, so you can see the nice shape of the hanger. It will make quite a mess, so make sure you do it over an empty box or trash can.
That could be the end right there, but you can also decorate it with glitter or anything else that sounds good. I used a heart necklace and I love the simplicity. Go crazy with it and have fun.
This one did take me quite awhile, only because of my arthritis and of course, I have a hand injury at the moment. It may take you about an hour or two but it is worth it and so cute!
I am ready for the next holiday. Do you craft for every holiday or just the major ones? If not crafting, do you just decorate? Please let me know that I amnot the only one! Thank you so much for reading everyone.

I Remove Day 1
In less than two months, I will be celebrating my first year of weight loss. This journey has been tough, I really can't lie about that. It took me a long time to learn and stop what i was doing wrong.
No matter what I did, I kept hitting a brick wall. Lately, I can go months without losing much weight, while not gaining it either. I know how to maintain, I just need to lose this last 45 pounds. Is that tooo much to ask?
When the campaign for I Remove popped up, I knew I had to try it right away. I thought maybe this was the thing I needed to jump start my weight loss again.
As I said, this is day one. Right now it is 4 am and I'm just opening the box and getting everything ready for today. The first thing I noticed, wes the size of the pills. I am very bad at taking pills, and most weight loss pills are HUGE. The I Remove pills are a nice size that I will be able to swallow easily.
From what I gather, you take 2 pills after each meal, so you take six pills a day. I'm bad at remembering, so the App reminders are perfect for me. They just pop up during the day at set times to remind you to take your pills.
I-Remove itself, is a plant based supplement made from Litramine. It also claims to be the number one weight loss pill in Europe.
This is a thirty day program and I am ready for it. My overall goal is more than they will let me set, so hopefully 10 pounds down, here I come. I will be updating you guys as I go. Crossing my fingers that I Remove will help!
What types of things do you do to lose weight? Do you do the natural route, use pills, or have you had surgery? I really need all the help I can get. Please let me know below. Have an amazing day everyone.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Thnk you to The Insiders and I Remove.

DIY Kitty Teether
Growing up, we were a dog family. The only cats I ever saw either ran the streets or were at friends homes. I have literally no experience with them so, raising two now, is pretty interesting.
We haven't had them long and they are only about 5 months old. They act like toddlers, fittingly enough, they are now teething. It is hard for them to eat, even their soft food and they have an obsession with chewing on boxes. I definitely needed to find something to end that habit before they hurt themselves.
This DIY is very simple. All you need is a can of broth and a washcloth.
First, cut up the washcloth in any sizes or shapes you want. I chose strips, and then I braided them.
Once you have that ready, open up a can of broth, and soak the shapes or strips. You may want to let them soak for a few minutes.
Do your final touch ups and then put them into a freezer safe container and let them freeze for a few hours. I flipped mine a few times to keep them from sticking to the bottom of the container.
After that, just get them out and give them to your pets. Depending on how warm it is, they may thaw quickly, I made sure to keep ours in the kitchen.
I know what you are wondering, "Did it work?" Nope. Not for my kitties. I think I need to keep experimenting with the different broths and hopefully I can find one they will try. Plus, they don't like cold stuff.
All I know is something has to happen soon because I can't take the constant chewing. Have you tried any DIY teethers or do you know another way to make their gums feel better? Please, let me know in the comments below..for my sanity!
Thank you so much for reading everyone, have a wonderful day.
