Most people who buy lighters and pick out special ones, do so, so they can see the image they wanted. Once, the lighter runs out though, you throw them out and head to the next image for awhile.
My husband keeps alot of items, lighters are one if the weirdest of the bunch. Recently a lady asked for old BIC lighters for a project, so I helped her out and decided to do a project of my own as well.
Grab yourself a container, I used an old ice cream one.
Lighter wrappers
Double Sided Tape
Scissors
As always, this is a super simple DIY. Take your container and attempt to take off any stickers, some like mine, don't come off, so stop trying. HAHA
When you have that done, Go around the bottom of the top lip one time with the double sided tape, and then a strip at the very bottom as well. You will need the tape again so keep it out but put it to the side for now.
Next, set the container down, and cut all the wrappers down to size. I mostly used the main image, but Sometimes, I used a bigger portion of the wrapper. It all depends on whether or not they were torn or not etc.
Line them up on the tape all the way around the container. If it has lips, you may need to cut slits, so the wrappers lay down. You can have a pattern or just put them any way you want.
Once that is done, take the excess of the wrappers and get them ready, get double sided tape around the rim, and then put the excess wrappers around the top. I made sure to use some that I didn't use below and those that I did as well. Of course I couldn't let them touch, because, well I'm weird.
After that, just sit it out and fill it up. Super simple and space saving, plus it got him to throw the lighters away! Do you have any weird thing you hoard? I love salt shakers lately!
So, as always, thank you so much for reading and for being a fan. You all mean the world to me, I couldn't do this without you. Happy Holidays!

DIY Outdoor Frozen Light Bulbs
Growing up, we never had a certain time to put up the Christmas decorations. Basically whenever my mom decided to or my dad felt like dragging it from the attic.
Mom always wanted us to help, it had to be a family thing, but then everything had to be her way and we all tapered off until only she was left. With that and the cold, we never decorated outside. As I have said before, I have no clue where to start. My lawn was great for Halloween but pretty boring for Christmas. I thought a colorful DIY might liven it up, and of course, all the snow melted. I will update this with another picture when we get some more snow. Anyway, on to the craft, here's what you need:
Balloons
Food Coloring
Water
Knife
Optional: Dark rope
This one is pretty simple, like most of my DIY's. I'm sure I could still mess it up, and if I could, someone else could as well, so always double check the instructions.
Start off with a balloon and food coloring. Put a few drops into the balloon. It doesn't matter what color you decide, or what color the balloons are.
Then put the balloon on the tap and slowly fill it up with water. Too quickly and your balloons may burst, pop off, or spring a leak. They can be as small or as big as you want them to be and multiple sizes, or the same for the lightbulb effect.
Tie the bag up well and then shake it up. You want the food coloring to spread obviously. From there, toss them into the freezer and wait.
When frozen, simply take them out, and slit the ballons and slip the insides out. From here, take them outside and either use them alone by tossing them around in the fresh snow, lining your sidewalk or porch, or frozen outdoor lights with rope as string.
Simple right? They also look pretty cool as well. What about you, do you go all out for the holidays or are you the other extreme and do nothing? I'm always fascinated by why as well, let me know below! Thank you so much for reading everyone, Happy Holidays and Thank you so much for being YOU!

Vitchello Sling Backpack
Remember when we were in school and we had to lug big bulky books back and forth to school? I swear that is why a lot of us have back problems. What about when you are taking a walk or riding your bike?
That big bulky bag gets in my way and it ends up hurting my back. I mean I guess you could carry less stuff in your bag, but you still have the big buly backpack.
This one strap sling back will totally help your back. Yes you have to put less in, but it makes the trip much more bearable. The quality is great as well, I have gotten more than a few compliments.
It featuures two pockets, a smaller and a larger, the larger even includes a few smaller slots as well. The bag is light, even when it's filled to the brim. I was able to fit 100 latex balloons in the little pocket if that helps with sizing.
Another thing I like, is the fact that the zipper pulls are so big. My hands suck and most days the arthritis doesn't let them work very well. With the big pulls, I know I can close this bag.
I'm very happy with this bag and I think you or the active person in your life would be happy with it as well. Please head over to Amazon and check it out for yourself.

Rock out with Ancordworks
Gosh, music is amazing. I listen to different songs depending on my mood. It always seems to help, even if it is depressing songs. There is just something about the words, that can bring you through the hardest of times.
Back in the day, the worst part avout music, was the fact that you couldn't take it with you when you left your house. For that fact alone, I thank bluetooth speakers. Who needs a big bulky boombox when you can clip your speaker and go?
Ancordworks has proved time after time that they deliver good quality products. This speaker meets the standards and even goes a step further, and includes an SD card as well. I have never seen another speaker that included one, and if you follow the blog, you know I have reviewed a whole crap load of speakers.
Not only do you get a memory card, but you also get a usb slot to slip it into a computer to get music. If that isn't your style, you can also go the Bluetooth method and listen to songs on your phone through a streaming service or Youtube.
This speaker is classified as a shower/outdoor speaker and honestly it is perfect for both. It is definitely loud enough to be heard over both a running shower and vehicles driving by and along the side of you.
I only have two complaints about this speaker, the first is the clip. It isn't spring load and it will break without you even tying to break it. It can also make you lose your speaker, I suggest getting a new clip if you are taking it out of the house.
My other gripe, is the fact that the bass sucks. Yeah, most of my music is country, but sometimes I want to put on California Love and hear that bass hit. Obviously this is just personal preference, if you don't care either way, get this speaker, it is super loud, one charge lasts for quite awhile and the music comes out nice and clear.
I'm off to listen to music while I finish some more work thanks to my Ancordworks speaker. As always thank you so much for reading everyone and if you would, tell me in the comments below how you listened to your music. The Walkman was really more my generation, did you have a boombox, 8 Track player or something else??

Comfort around the neck, not in the palm of your hands.
My husband plays video games all the time and he often falls asleep while sitting up on the couch. Every time he woke up the next day, he complained about his neck hurting. It was all I could do to stop myself from saying "Just come to bed!"
With choosing your battles and all, I decided to find a way to help him instead of starting a fight about it. I set out looking for different solutions and found this pillow on my journey.
It says memory foam, claims to be comfortable, helps with your neck, etc. They all do that though, so I held my excitement until I finaly got the product around his neck.
Putting it on, you feel like a dog with an anti bite cone on. It really is big and gets in the way. Since you are falling asleep though, does it really matter? Well, if you are using it while traveling it could be a small issue if you wear it while awake.
BUT, this thing really is comfortable. It really is memory foam. Last but not least, it really does help your neck. From the first day he tried it out, I haven't heard him complain about neck pain since.
This pillow really is amazing and it will save your neck from a lot of pain. I haven't used it while traveling yet, but sitting up sleeping on the couch has become a lot less painful! make sure you go and check this pillow out on Amazon.

I have never been on an airplane, but I know people who have. It kind of scares me. Please tell me some good stories about your airplane travels. I really want to do a private plane tour of the city for my husband for Valentines Day!

Let your air out with 101 latex balloons.
If you watch movies or reality shows, you would think that balloons are a huge part of celebrating. I can honestly say, that is not how my childhood was. Why would we waste our time on a bunch of balloons when we could get another toy?
These days it seems to be the opposite. People want to have a HUGE party with hundreds of balloons and all sorts of decorations. I know people like this and have been to these parties, It really is a bit magical to walk into a room and the dance floor is full of balloons.
As always, I have alterior reasons for wanting to review these balloons. Yes I will use them for parties, but they are also great for crafts. I actually have a craft waiting in the wings because I did them and the next day all our snow was gone.
Anyway back to the topic on hand, these balloons. As soon as you see the bag, you see the vast array of colors. They are all nice and bright and these pictures don't do them justice. Quality wise, they are pretty thick and the top stretches nicely.
They work well with air and water. I was able to get a few pretty big before I got scared that they would blow up in my face. The cats enjoyed them and it took days before they were able to pop them.
I think that these balloons would be great for a party, especially if you want certain colors only because they give you a lot of each. These would even work well for holidays as well, like the black and orange for Halloween.
All in all, I am very happy with these. As I said, they will be used for crafts as well, so you will be seeing them again. Check them out here:

What are your favorite ways to decorate for parties? I'm pretty bland, but I want some of your ideas. Maybe the kids would enjoy their parties a bit more. HAHA

DIY Skeleton Christmas Ornaments
Here it is, a week before Christmas, and I'm crafting my little heart out. Christmas seems the easiest, but I have been too busy to really explore this season. My house looks pretty bland, but all the houses around do as well.
As I was googling, I have found a lot of stuff and a lot of them dealt with ornaments. If you saw the post last week, then you know how to make salt flour dough ornaments. This one is even easier.
What you need:
Clear ornaments (Bigger opening on top the better)
Glow in the dark spider web
Marker
Like I said, this one is super simple. Start ouut with a clear ornament and take the top off of it, Stuff it full of the glow in the dark spider web, or you could do a splash of white paint, or something else that's all white.
When you are done with that, put the top back on. At this point, you can stop and hang the ornaments this way, or you can decorate them however you want. I want with a basic skeleton and found out that my marker skills aren't the best.
I had so much fun making this ornament, I just hope you all have better marker skills than I do. No matter what I had fun. What is your best Christmas memory? I loved Christmas morning and waking up to the smell of cinnamon rolls.
Thank you so much for reading everyone, have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Most importantly, stay amazing.

DIY Dough Christmas Ornaments
Years ago, I started crafting and salt dough items are the first thing I attempted. They are so simple to do and of course a lot of fun.
Starting out, you need to grab a few things:
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of salt
1/2 cup-1 cup water
Cookie cutters
string
paint
decor
Take the flour and salt and mix them together really well. Slowly stir in the water until you get a nice dough that isn't sticky. Flour a surface and roll the dough down onto it. Then cut out the shapes that you want and stick them on a baking sheet, making a hole at the top with a toothpick. Finally stick it into the oven. 325 degrees for 1 hour.
Keep an eye on them, they will get brown quickly. If you aren't planning on painting them, you will want them to stay as white as possible. Mine stayed in a bit too long but will eventually be painted.
Initials: The first thing I did, was cut out the first initial of my family and I's names. I then spelled out there name using the toothpick and made a nice sized string hole for the top.
Our First Home Ornament: This one is pretty sinple, I rolled out a circle and then pressed our house key in to make an impression. You can write with the toothpick or wait and use a sharpie or paint after it is done, and don't forget that string hole!
Heart and Name: This one is just as it sounds, cut out a heart shape and then write on it before baking or use paint and markers to write on it later. String hole!
Skull: Those Halloween cookie cutters can come in handy all year long. These could be a lot of fun as coasters for a Halloween party and of course for the tree.
All the rest are the normal Christmas cookie cutters. But they still make great ornaments for your full size or smaller tree. If you can't afford ornaments or you just like crafting, this one is so easy to do and so much fun. You should already have everything you need on hand!
