DIY Christmas Wreath

Christmas is here again. Yet again I am left wondering where the year went. It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating my March birthday and then boom birthdays..Halloween..Holidays. It all just seems to come back right away.

When it comes to decorating, we all have different opinions on when it should start. I personally like to do it the day after Thanksgiving, or that weekend, inside at least. Growing up, we never decorated outside, so I really have no idea what I'm doing. That is when the crafting begins.

For Christmas, I'm bringing back the wreath. I have had a lot of fun making these and I can't wait to change them up for next year. These wreaths are so much fun and you can change and substitute any colors or ornaments for something you like better.

First off, gather your supplies, trash bags, scissors, metal hanger, and decor

Take your hanger and shape it into a circle, or the best you can do. It gets easier with the more strips you put on, it is much easier to bend the hanger into the end shape.

Next, you need to start cutting strips. I suggest, you cut one to start out with and start experimenting with the size that you want by tying them on and cutting them to size on the hanger. Do that until you get the size you want and then you will know how big to cut your strips. Once you know, just start cutting, I usually keep my bags folded up and cut them that way, then I unfold the strips and cut each strip to size after I get a bunch of strips. I used probably 7 13 gallon white trash bags for this project.

Once you have a bunch of strips, cut to size, start tying them on. If you do it loose, you will use a lot less bags, I do mine as tight as possible, but do it the way you want. Do that all the way around. It took me a few hours, but I also have arthritis, so it may not take as long for you.

For my decor, I went simple, with a bow and ornament. You can do any decor you want to do. You can also change it as it got closer to Christmas as well. Dress it up any way you want.

After shaping and decorating, simply hang anywhere you want and enjoy. Thats it, super simple huh? That s why I love these wreaths. They are easy to do and they look really pretty.

I really need some outside crafting ideas, please let me know some of yours. It is unseasonably warm outside right now, and it would be the perfect time to get them done. Thank you so much for reading, and stay tuned for more crafts.

The Healing Tree Lip Balm

Winter is hard on lips. Between the cold and the crazy wind, your lips can get chapped quickly. There are also lip biters, like me. When winter comes along, my lips are never ready.

I have tried other lip balms my whole life. They usually make me want to bite more, especially when they have a good smell or taste or when they cake on and just stay there. I may have fixed my problem though.

Yes, this is just a normal lip balm. being vegan, just means they don't use or test on animals, which is a great thing, for animal lovers or anyone with a heart, and especially for vegans.

They do make claims about it helping your lips. They say it helps with dryness, cracking, moisture etc. This is  how the product has worked for me. I use it 3-4 times a day, or whenever I feel like biting.

Once you put on this balm, it seems to soak right in. You don't have any tastes or smells to contend with, its just a natural scent, aka nothing, which is perfect for me.

I'm very happy with this lip balm and it does actuallly work! Please go and check ouut their website, they have many other amazing items as well.

Rubbery 2 in 1 Pacifier Clips

People grow out of things, it just happens. Sometimes we don't even want to let things go. Babies are no different, they grow with the same items and then some of those items are important to them. When they grow out of things and you have to put them away, it makes it much harder. Why not keep them and use them for other stuff?

Of course people will say, why don't you just let your baby use them and then throw them away like normal people. To that I have to say why. Get creative in your life after your baby is done. Every time you see them it will bring back lovely memories of days gone by.

First off, lets start with the product itself. These are 2 in 1, pacifier clips and teethers. The clips hold tight and don't pull apart, even with effort. The teething beads are both beautiful and useful. They are soft enough so they don't hurt the gums but hard enough to help them with their pain.

These teethers are put together well and the colors are great. Even the packaging was fun but simple. They don't waste too much, so you don't have much trash to throw away and you can even reuse the bags as well. I had no problem giving these to my nephew to chew on and boy did he chew.

The whole idea of a pacifier, can be taboo or ok depending on who you are talking to. I have no problem with pacifiers up to a certain age and being able to find them is very important when you have a crying baby. You can really depend on these to keep track of it for you.

Now, I did a few things with these clips. The first, was I held up a poster, without using a picture frame. It makes the picture and the clips both pop and I think it looks pretty cute.

Next, I did the same thing, but with pictures of family. I love the way they hang down and you can still see the whole picture. I think this is a great way to decorate your child's room.

Lastly, for the older kids, I used a clip to hold on to all of the random hair ties we have around here. It makes it much easier for them to find them one when they need it, plus it is a way to keep them off the floor and out of the vacuuum.

There are so many more things I can do with these and I will probably keep trying to think of them and update this later. If you have any ideas for me or comments on these awesome teether clips, let me know below. Thank you so much for reading, have a great day!

Please head over and check out this product on Amazon and help support Rubbery.

Let The Little Children Come Evangelism Tools

Kids love to play, but finding good, clean, educational items, isn't always easy. With the evolution of technology finding things for them to do, is growing slim. I want them to be good kids, who get all the information they need, to figure out what they want to believe in when they grow up.

I was so happy to be able to review this sampler pack. Pack is a great word for it, because they really packed a lot of information up in it. As a sampler, this is just a small bit from this program and as you can you get high quality items from them. Everything is fun and well put together.

One set of items you get, are their animated tracts. When pull the "filter" to the side, it appears as though the pictures are moving. These books are perfect for keeping attention, and learning, without realizing it. My animated tracts included John 3:16, Where's Everybody Going? and my favorite, The True Story Of Christmas. I find these super cute and a ton of educational fun.

Next in my bag of tricks...Pop-up Tracts. Pop-up Tracts are adorable pop up books. This time, you get two books, The Most Amazing House and The Lost Easter Egg. Both books are great, but the detail in The Lost Easter Egg, make it seem like more of an actual book than the other. The message is still perfect in both of them. The pop-ups, keep kids attention and then they start to ask questions. It really is valuable learning time and they are enjoying it.

You're gonna flip for FlipAbouts. At first they seemed really difficult to do and then when we figured it out, we couldn't believe how easy it was. Flipabouts tell stories as you continue to flip them. I got two FlipAbouts, one is John 3:16 and the other just has some cool symbols. I think these would be a great way to remind bible verses and stories. I know I keep flipping and reading. Older kids might really like this tool.

Last but not least, BRACELETS. A Salvation silicone bracelet. A simple bracelet that is green, black, red, yellow and white. You also get a make your own bracelet kit. It includes cord and beads of the same colors as above. Each color symbolizes a reminder. Older kids will love these, it could be a fun project to do together as a family.

All in all I think this is a good set. There are items for younger kids, older, and some for both. Parents will be able to enjoy them for many many years, from young kids to young adults, you will find something for everyone.

My kids are between 10 and 16 and they all found something you enjoyed about this pack. It is a total hit in my house. Please go and look through their website, to find out if they are a perfect for you too!

Sweet Basil and Lime Blemish Soap

Over the years, I have had many different obsessions. Avon bottles is a big one of mine, but lately, I have been thinking about selling them and moving on to a new obsession.

When I got to looking, I realized that I had aquired quite of bit of "homemade" or shaped soap from my years of reviewing. This obsession could be good for not only my decorating, but my skin as well.

Healing Tree is a new company for me. So far, they seem to genuinely care about their customers and their support is very helpful. The company is highly vegan, which means you know you aren't putting any animal products on your face and they aren't testing on them either. So far, I'm loving this company and their products.

The first thing you notice about this soap, is the simple packaging. With little trash to throw away, they are doing their part to help the environment. Though the label is small, you find out everything you need to know about the product and then some.

The next thing you will notice, is the fact that it isn't perfect. The soap has these beautiful lines to it, almost like they just broke the bars by hand. You know me, I see art in everything and this bar is beautiful.

Now the scent, sweet basil and lime. To be honest, I thought I would hate it. The pair just doesn't sound like it will go together. Once you open it though, the smell hits you and it's actually pretty nice.

I have used this bar a few times now and I have to say I'm surprised. It doesn't leave a layer of film and it seems to clean my face, better than my face cleanser. My face comes out feeling soft every time.

While I have used this bar, I almost want to stop and keep it for my collection. The smell lingers throughout my bathroom, plus it looks amazing. i'm not sure what will win, collection or awesome skin.

Please go and check this out on their website. They also have a monthly membership plan, 4 products for $29.99. After you share those products to your friends and they start buying, you earn money from them as well. You could end up, not paying for your boxes for awhile.

Talking Socks from Trendy Pro

Sometimes in life, you search out things, and sometimes they find you. Every year, I search for the best presents, for people I barely see, some, I don't even like.

When you see the perfect thing, you just know. My sister in law loves drinking, and she loves novelty items. These would melt her heart!

The first thing you notice about this product, is the box. You all know, I appreciate when companies put thought into all aspects, product and visually. Plus, you wouldn't even have to wrap these. Slap a bow on the side and hand it over.

Inside, you find the socks rolled up right next to each other. When you unroll them, you get to feel how thick they are. I assumed that novelty socks wouldn't be the best quality, but they are seriously comfortable on your feet.

The lettering is nice as well. They remind me of the socks you get when you have a stay in the hospital. The words really grip the floor so you aren't sliding around.

Price wise, these are about $20 bucks. I think they would make the perfect gift for the wine lover in your life or even just a splurge on yourself. Even without the wording, these socks are worth it.

Please go and check them out and they also have other sets as well, so make sure you are looking them up too.

I thought about doing a pair of new socks instead of stockings. They get everything inside and the socks as well. It would be a lot less clean up. What new or old things do you love to do for the holidays? Let me know below.

Be seen with Glow Pods.

Being seen in the dark has always been important. Whether you're taking a walk or going trick or treating, cars are always an issue.

My husband can be seen on his bicycle, because he has lights on his bike. Why not have a light on yourself or your children? But who really wants to strap a headlight on before going outside?

Glow Pods are just the thing you need. Instead of boring glow sticks, you can use a variety of 7 different pods. Including, skull, heart, smiley face, arrow, circle, moon, and a star.

These pods are a nice size. When you open them, you get the pod, and the double sided sticky circle. When you examine it, you see that the instructions are included on not only the package, but also on the back of the pods, which is nice.

Basically, you fold and squeeze and flatten and shake and do whatever you can to get these things to glow. I had so much trouble when I attempted to do a video showing them glow.

The funniest part of all this? The face is still smiling and glowing at me, DAYS later. It may have given me a headache at first, but I love the idea of it, they are so much fun and actually a really good and safe idea.

I love this product and I think they did an amazing job with this. It is a soecial product. The only thing I would say, would be to expand on the images you make, or make an all adult line possibly.

Please make sure you check this product out on Amazon.

Health & Pure Face Mask Set

Sometimes, you don't know you need something, until you use them for the first time. Many years ago, when I reviewed my first face mask, I didn't think it would help at all.

I ended up pretty amazed. I thought, I'm 30 and I don't need products like this. Do I? I got to thinking about it and prevention is much better than simply preventing for a few hours only. Long story short, the face masks amazed me and you really get to see what they can do.

This is a set of 3 bottles. Matcha Tea Cream, Bentonite Clay Cream, and  Activated Charcoal Mask. They are all very different, so I'm going to spend a bunch of time one on one with them, because I have many different thoughts.

Let's begin with my least favorite of the bunch, the Bentonite Clay Cream. It is very true to it's name. When you put it on, it feels like you're spreading literal pottery clay on your face. It's also a bit rough coming off of your face. I got three uses out of the bottle.

The plus side? My face feels amazing. The bags seem a little less poufy and the skin is like silk. It does help, I just personally don't like it, and it is very thick, so it goes quick. I do love the results though. Sorry about this set of pics, I took them on the wrong phone and then they wouldn't bluetooth or save, it was a huge mess.

Next up, is the Charcoal mask. This one, I can go either way. I only put this mask on my nose, and a little bit on my check. Too many of those blackhead videos on Facebook I suppose. It goes on just like that and just like that, I could never get it to dry all the way.

They say 5-10 minutes, I waited 20 and it still didn't totally dry. Plus, It's really rough coming off, far worse than the above. You have to use a towel and scrub or it isn't coming off. Just like the above, you do so a nice improvement in your skin. Plus, after a week, I still have some left in the bottle.

Now, the Matcha Tea Cream. This is my favorite of the bunch. It is a lovely green, so you can feel like a wicked witch for 10 minutes. It goes on smoothly and you don't need too much of it. It feels great on the face, I didn't get the same tightness like I got with the other two. The mask was actually quite comfortable. Taking it off was a breeze, no scrubbing, just running your wet hands over your face.

This ironically, was the first one I tried out. I had a zit on day one and it was gone by day two, plus my skin looked and felt amazing all week. Silky smooth skin is always a win in my book.

All of these masks will give you what you're looking for. You just have to try them out and decide which one you like the best. I'm not sure if they sell these individually in bigger bottles or not, but they should! Remember, these are only my opinions, you may hate the Matcha and love the rest, we're all different. Give them a try for yourself and let me know what you think about them at the link below.
