For years, I have seen people making pencil pouches out of candy wrappers. I thought to myself, there has to be an easier way. Since I'm not in school anymore, I also wanted something smaller.
Since I wanted smaller, I went with a Big League Chew package. After I gave the gum another home of course. Next I gathered up a ZIPLOCK BAG, HOT GLUE GUN AND STICKS, and anything you want to use to decorate your bag. I personally like it the way it is.
First, make sure the inside of the bag is cleaned out. That gum leaves a lot of dust and you don't want that all over your stuff.. or maybe you do. Either way, you decide, clean or not, sit it to the side.
Next pick up the ziploc bag and cut off the top, "zipper" portion. Cut it to fit inside of the gum package. Put a few dots all along both sides of the wrapper of glue from the hot glue gun. I kept them apart so they didn't get glued together. Once they were both dry, I opened and closed it a few times to make sure it will work.
If you happen to use too much glue, it may be harder to close the bag, so watch out how much you put on there. At this point, I'm done with mine. It's ready to go with me as a purse or at home for other things. You can go on to decorate it anyway you want.
There ya go, a nice simple DIY. It took me a whole five minutes to get mine done. i'm actually loving this little package, it is essentially a ziploc Bag, great way to recycle and DIY.
As always, thank you so much for reading, I really hope you leave me your ideas below. Have an amazing day!
