I love the paranormal. Ghosts and demons are my thing. I often joke with my husband that I am going to haunt him when I die and chase off any ladies that come around him.
That is just as silly as this book. I generally love the books from this author, but I just couldn't get into this one. He writing style is the same, but this one just doesn't have that one thing I'm looking for...suspense, or even a good story line.
I found it hard to relate to the characters. I need to really feel the pain of losing the wife and living without her. There is just not enough emotions.
My friend on the other hand loved this book. She would love to see a movie adaption of it. She also feels that the emotions could have been played up more, but unlike me, she still found sympathy throughout.
