First off, I want to say that Mr. Cash is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. Proving that he can take any topic and run with it, while still having an amazing book and seemingly a genius on the topic. I am very happy that this trilogy comes together in the same book. I really don't feel like I could have waited for the next book. You all know that I don't do spoilers, but here is what I can tell you.
Schism (book1) really explains the characters. The first 19 pages are the most in your face informational wise out of all three books. He packs it full at a steady pace, once you get passed that it slows down quite a bit. You still keep learning, just in smaller patches. You meet a prince who is being primed to be king. He really plays on him being a youth, so when the trouble happens, he can be shown as finally becoming a man. As far as other characters, I liked who should be liked and hated the ones that should be, who did some really awful things.
Collision (Book 2) Focusing on everyone and just a small bit on the prince. I find it really gets into the characters, new and old. To be honest it reminds me of some sort of star trek soap opera. It didn't really get to the point until the end of the book and you are slammed with action and suspense.
Risen (Book 3) really ties everything up in my opinion. It is written as well as the others, less informative, but definitely left me happy. The best part of these books are that I can now pass them down to my 14 year old to enjoy!
Head on over to the The Battle For Darracia trilogy product page on Amazon. From there you can find out more about them and you can pick up a book for yourself.
I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
