I have never been one for coffee. To me it tastes like beans and I just can't get past that, even when I put in a bunch of creamer. My husband on the other hand, loves coffee. Never much cold coffee though, so this was a first for both of us.
The look of this is simple, but elegant. There are only a few parts to it, so it is really easy to use. The glass base is the main piece and it seems to be thick enough to withstand a short fall. After that a filter goes in the top and ground coffee inside of it.
After sitting in the fridge for a day or two, it is finally ready to drink. I really don't like the fact that it takes so long. If I want a drink, I want it that day, not two days later. Like I said though, we have never used anything like this. Maybe it is normal and they all take this long. I don't want to unfairly judge it because of how long it took.
It took many tries and a week, before we got it to taste the way we wanted. It was either too strong, or too weak, but I think we finally have something my husband really likes. That doesn't happen very often either. The best part, is the fact that it cleans up quickly.
