I love charms, you can do a lot with them and since I love to make things, I thought that this would be the perfect way to showcase this lovely charm! Plus it brings me joy at the same time, it is my great stress reliever!
First off I want to talk about the charm and then I will get into what I made with it. When you look at it, the very first thing you will notice is the detail. I wanted a charm that would make me think of my dad who passed and that would look like a real wing.
I think the charm is made well and it isn't just a flat charm, there are parts that stick up more then others and it really looks cool! The size is what I was expecting and I found the top loop will go through a bracelet or ribbon.
I wanted to use it for something I would use everyday, that way I could look at it at anytime and think about my dad. For this project, I made a bookmark. All with materials I had sitting in a drawer at home.
Ribbon, wing charm, and a book! That easy! All you have to do is measure out the amount of ribbon you need and cut it. Then you slide the charm to the middle and make a knot. The knot and charm will hang outside of the book and the ribbon will keep your spot inside!
