The fact that this is solar powered with a hand crank, means you do not have to pay on electricity to be able to use it. Which will really save money and time. Instead of searching for an outlet at home or on the go, just crank and listen!
We will definitely be taking this with us on our next camping trip. Hopefully we can get stations to come in, in the middle of nowhere. I know how crucial time can be. I was caught outside in a car while a tornado passed by pretty close to us!
It has a silicone/rubber cover on it which makes it look and feel nice. It works really well too. The stations really come in clear at home and are easy to find. The light is a nice little bonus and it is pretty bright.
