Silicone Gummy Bear Mold

I thought I liked candy more then the normal person, until I met my husband. He is over 6 foot and 170 pounds soak and wet. He eats everything and candy is his favorite. The kicker is, he never gains weight. I even think of candy and I feel like I put on a few pounds. But I still LOVE it! The expense..not so much.

This could be my solution. It is a 50 cavity mold, which means, you can make 50 of them at one time. The bears are pretty small, but like I said, 50 at once! It does cost to get all the ingredients you need, but I am sure that you will get far more out of them, then you would in a bag from the store.

By now, it is well known, that I love silicone products. It is just so much easier to clean, and with the arthritis, I love the fact that each of the bears can pop out if need be, to get into the crevices of the mold. I haven't had too much trouble with sticking, so cleaning it has been a breeze...so far!

Another thing I love about this, is the fact that you can make all sorts of things with this mold...as long as you clean it well in between. If you have a child that loves teddy bears, this could really help at their next birthday party. You could do gummies, chocolate bears, even soap, and crayons. Of course they need to be kept in different spots and probably different bags as well so you don't have a soap candy mix up.

All in all, I love this set. The syringe that comes with it, is easy to use and it really helps to fill the bears, while not getting the ingredients all over the place. That way you don't waste them, so you can make bears with every last drop!
