Growing up, my dad use to love to make us breakfast food. I loved waking up, especially on holiday mornings. Cinnamon rolls and cinnamon sugar toast were the norm. Some people have never heard of or ate cinnamon sugar toast. They don't know what they are missing!
All you need to make it is:
Bread
Country Crock Spread
Cinnamon
Sugar
Hershey Spread (optional)
You start by laying your bread out onto a cookie sheet. You can make as many as you can fit on the cookie sheet or pizza pan.
You then spread the Country Crock onto the bread. Some people like a little bit and other people like to spread it all over the top. I really like to spread it all over the top to really taste it!
When you are done with that, stick the pan in the oven with the broiler on.
While they are in the oven, take 2 parts sugar and add it to one part cinnamon. stir it up and it should be ready to go. You can always add more of either one, to get it the taste you require.
By the time that is done, or while you are doing that, the toast should be done. I usually leave it in there for 3-5 minutes. I don't like it getting too burnt.
Take out the cookie sheet and immediately spoon the cinnamon sugar mixture to the top. Don't worry about getting too much, because you can shake off the extra onto the sheet.
To finish, add the pieces to a plate. Put some Hershey spreads into a microwave safe bowl or cup and heat it up until it is a liquid. I usually stop and stir it every 5 to 10 seconds. Then just sprinkle it over the top, and serve.
