Silicone Muffin/Cupcake Pan Set

Baking is so much fun. To me, it is a way to free myself from all the stress of life. Just forget about everything for awhile and just worry about how my food is going to turn out..and if people will like it! Anytime, I get to bake with silicone, I am happy. To me everything seems to taste better when it is cooked with silicone baking supplies.

This set is pretty awesome. It looks good and has worked really well for me so far. Below is a list and a short description of everything you get in this set.

12 cup Silicone Muffin/cupcake pan: I am not one for pink, but I think this pink is a pretty nice shade. Easy on the eyes at least. This pan seems to be made really well and out of good materials. You can fit a lot of batter inside of the cups, which means you can make decent sized cupcakes/muffins. The bottom has a roughness to it, which makes it harder to slide around. My cupcakes came out nicely with just a little bit of sticking on a few of them. All in all though, I really like this pan. It cleans up with ease and looks brand new even after a few uses.

Spatula: The spatula is a decent size. It seems to be fit on the handle well and the handle is thick enough, that I don't believe it will break on me while I am using it. That seems silly to say, but I have broken quite a few that weren't made very well. It is shaped just the right way to scrape everything out of any shaped bowl that I use.

Pastry Brush: I found this one to be made nicely as well. It obviously won't get the same beating as the spatula, but it is always nice when things are made well. The brush part,makes it easy to spread fluids, not only over bakery items but also homemade pizza crusts and other bread goods. I am sure it could also be used for a turkey, ham or BBQ.

Baking cups: The baking cups are your standard paper cups. Nothing too special about them,besides the awesome heart designs included on the sides of them. They worked pretty well for my cupcakes.

At first I thought this set was miss matched with the different colors, but now I see that it works really good for the upcoming holiday. Everyone is getting in on the craze and it makes me like this et and the pink even more.
