Tibetan Singing Bowl--Geshe's Dharma

I am a music person, I love playing it, experiencing it, and singing it. There is just something so calming to me. When I play music it seems like all my worries drift away and I can really express myself by what music I play. Depending on the mood it could be downers or uppers. This singing bowl is definitely a new experience for me.

The first thing I want to say, is, the details are so beautiful on this bowl. Inside and out. You can tell they took some time to make this perfect and I think it is gorgeous! It comes with a pad to sit it on, which also looks pretty cool, the piece to make the music, and of course the bowl. All in a cute little box.

I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use this, that maybe it would take some practice, but I actually found it pretty easy. All I did, was hit the inside of the bowl and then ran the piece around the sides. The more I did it, the longer the sound lasted. It is an interesting but beautiful sound. I think this would be awesome for calming down after a long day, meditating, or just to add a bit of sound to your day.
