We live in a very old apartment that is connected to five other apartments, over a business. They don't maintain anything up here. So when one thing goes wrong in an apartment, it usually goes wrong in all the rest. This week, it is our toilet. Someone has logged theirs or is flushing shit they shouldn't be, and it is causing our toilet to mess up. It is very annoying, especially since it isn't our fault. I needed a solution. I know it will only be a temp one since I can't control the neighbors.

Green Gobbler is so simple to use. The packets are pre measured, so you don't have to worry about any of that. Which means it saves you time and a possible mess. The instructions are super simple:

1. Tear open packet
2. Pour packet into drain
3. Pour in boiling water and wait.

Most things call for one packet, and waiting 15 - 30 minutes. But if you are trying to fix your toilet, you need to use 2 packets with boiling water and you have to let it sit overnight. From my understanding, you need the water to help dissolve the packets and it also helps to unclog the drain..I think. You can also use the hair/debri tool, before pouring anything into the drain, so you can get everything out of there that you possibly can.

Last night I used my two packets and I woke up, flushed the toilet and it actually worked this time. It didn't flush weird, and most importantly, it didn't overflow. This did just what I wanted and needed it to do. I don't know how long it will be until the neighbors mess it up again, but until then I am going to enjoy this clear, well running toilet!
