When you go camping and its pitch black out, you will need a light and why not make it a solar light? You won't need batteries, the sun will charge it up for you. But no one wants a boring lantern anymore, we want something cool and different and I think this one fits the bill.
This is an inflatable solar lantern, that comes deflated. It is a bit hard to inflate it at first, until you get the hang of it. Once you do, it will blow right up. The nozzle fits easily back into the top when you are done. The lights are on the inside, so they are protected from the elements. There is a button on the bottom that changes the lantern and a remote that does as well.
A few pushes of the button and you start to see how cool this lantern is. It has multiple colors and even a few different levels of strobes as well. The lights are super bright and the colors are vivid and you can see them from pretty far away. Not only would this be a cool light for camping, it would also be cool to sit out at parties. I think it would be a great conversation starter!
I really love this lantern. It is a nice size and a great idea. So far it is staying charged all night long, so I can always have light at night when we have different events. I think I may even have the kids carry this next Halloween. It is light weight, I don't feel like they will break it, even if they dropped it and it will help them to see.
