I am still not too sure about this thing. It reminds me of a product that you get from an infomercial at 4 am and then wonder why later on. It is suppose to make golden eggs. The pictures they show, almost look like deviled eggs. I sure couldn't get any of my eggs to turn out that way.
The more I read though, it sounds like this really is just an egg scrambler. I am assuming, so you can go straight from cracking the egg and to the frying pan, without having to dirty up another dish.
Basically you put the egg inside the silicone or rubber shell. You fit in the pieces and put the biggest piece over the others to keep them together. Then there are strings and a handle hanging out both sides. Then you spin the whole device either away from you or towards you, whatever is most comfortable to you.
The directions say about a dozen times. I did it a few more then that. When I stopped, the eggs weren't really close to being scrambled, so I assume I have to do it longer. Believe me, this thing will really work out your arms!
All in all this is cool enough just to have sitting around while you hand scramble an egg in a bowl. It may not work that well, but I had so much fun with it and I think that it will be cool enough to just show people when they come over. Like a great conversation starter!
If you want something like this to try or just have, then head on over to the Egg Scrambler product page on Amazon. From there you will find out more about this product, see what other people think of it and how well it worked for them, and you can pick up one for yourself or someone you love. It might even make a cute stocking stuffer!
