Sometimes I think of my fridge, as a place where good intentions go to die. I am always saying that I am going to start eating more fresh fruits and veggies, but saying and doing are two different things. I get the stuff, maybe it eat it for a day or two and then it sits there and waits to be thrown away. Part of it is because I just don't want to continue my diet, we aren't home very much, or that the fridge always seems to make things taste differently, when they are placed directly on the shelves.
I thought that maybe these produce bags, would make the stuff look cooler and protect them from the nastiness of the fridge shelves. If the fruits and veggies looked cooler and got my attention, then that might make me more inclined to eat the foods that I should be eating. Right now I over look them all for something better looking in the fridge!
I love how big these bags are. The mesh is a cool look and lets the fruits and veggies get the air or whatever they need to survive...if that makes any sense at all! The drawstring, seems to be made well and doesn't seem like it could break or go inside the lip and be deemed unusable. They are tall and wide, but fold up pretty small and they don't take up too much space on my shelves.
There are many things I have used these for so far. Corn on the cob is the veggie I used for this review. Even thought they are tall and ackwardly shaped, I was able to get 4 inside with no problem. I am sure I can fit one or two more in, if I had them, but this way they aren't stuffed and I don't feel like the bag will rip or break putting them or when it was time to take them out!
I never knew I needed these bags, but now I don't know what I would do with out them. The fridge looks so much better and even organized now! If you are curious about these bags, head on over to the Pleasant Find's Reusable Produce Bags product page on Amazon. From there you can find out more about these bags, see what other people are saying about them, and you can pick up a set for yourself!
I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion/review/feedback.
