I love lights. Especially colored lights. When I can move them around and put them all over in the house, it's even better. When they work as they should, I just turn them on and walk away for a few hours and let them light up my home. It looks cool and I save on electricity.
These lights, look pretty awesome. I call them bullets because they are smaller and shaped like bullets in a way. They don't come on a string like normal lights, they are all loose, but they do have an area on the end where you could string them through something.
Since they aren't corded, they use 2 small circle batteries. Before using them for the first time, you have to unscrew them and take the piece of paper out. Then the pretty purple lights up. When I first starting using them and did the video, these worked great.
I have one window I can display things in, so I decorated it for Halloween. I put these lights into the window and walked away. Not even an hour later, two of the lights were already dead and off. A few hours after that another one went out. There is still one of the originals glowing, after days later. I understand that the temp could have been different where they came from and maybe ruined the batteries, but its still pretty ridiculous.
Since these aren't reliable, I decided to stick the rest inside the kids pumpkins. There are 12 in a pack, and about 4 of them are actually still working. I basically look at these as use once and throw away. I know I am not going out and buying these expensive batteries, to put back into the lights.
All annoyances aside, they are a pretty color and when they work, they actually do a good job and a lot of light comes out of them. The ones that work, can be put into balloons, paper lanterns, pumpkins, around the house, etc. They don't get warm, so you don't have to worry about burning anything or your house.
All in all....if they work, they are great...if they don't they suck. I am torn on these, I really am. Just make sure you know, that a lot of them won't work, if you get a bag like mine. I hope you are lucky and get a bag that fully works!
Head on over and check these out on the LED Balloon Lights product page on Amazon. From there you can find out more about these lights, see what other people are saying about them, and pick up a set for yourself.
