Imagine you did something in your life that you aren't proud of. Maybe you killed someone, caused an accident, or even just got someone in trouble. How guilty did you feel? Guilty enough to take the chance and get a second chance to do it all over again?
Texting and driving is a big mistake, Tom Booker finds this out the hard way. As a lawyer he should know not to do that, or to take a sip while driving...if you know what I mean. After lying to his boss to get out of work to take his daughter and her friends to the museum, he finds himself on the bridge.
One second he is texting his location and the next, he is slamming into a minivan. Not just any minivan though, its the minivan that holds his daughter and her friends. The minivan is tipped over and seriously close to going into the water. Tom gets out in pain looking around and sees the horror that has unfolded.
Next he is forced with the choice of leaving things how they are or rewinding his life back to before the accident....at a price. In order to have his daughter back, he must do some things that aren't for everyone. Which will he choose?
This is only a piece of an amazing book that will have you on the edge of your seat. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! I found the author to be an amazing writer and he gives us a great story, one that I hope could never come to true, but it is fun to read anyway!
