Balloon Monsoon Refill Kit

As many of you have read, (I hope) I got to review the Balloon Monsoon kit. We had so much fun playing with these. You can read all about it, if you haven't read it yet by clicking here. We had so much fun with them and it was a great item to review!

To use this kit, you need to make sure you kept all your sticks and the hose adapters. With out those, this kit is just a huge bag of balloons, 500 to be exact! This is a self assembled kit, which at first annoyed me, because the whole point of the balloon monsoon kit, is to save time and getting the most water balloons in seconds!

Since there are no directions on these, I had no idea how to get them onto the sticks in the least amount of time. Luckily, the awesome company had already sent me an email with the directions, when I went in to send them a message on Amazon.

Basically, the set up is quite easy, but will take you a bit to get use to it and to get all the balloons set up. Instructions to use this kit are:

1. Remove the sticks from the hose adapter piece, or leave them in there.

2. Take a balloon and slip it over the end of the stick, kind of tight but not too tight where you will poke a hole in the balloon.

3. Slip the self tying ring, over the stick and balloon until it is close to the top.

4. Pull the balloons down a little bit on the stick, so it isn't flush against the end of the balloon.

5. Put the sticks back into the hose adapter if you took them out, if not, you are ready to go.

6. Follow the instructions on use, on the regular kit and then enjoy!

The first time, I attempted this, it took me about 45 seconds to do the first balloon. Once I got use to it though, I was getting them on there in about 15 seconds. It takes a few times to get use to these, but once you do, you can really speed along, with getting them set up and ready to go.

I still feel like it would be faster to just buy another whole kit, but you do get a lot more balloons in this refill kit and you also save a few bucks going this route. If you aren't afraid to do a little assembly, then this pack will work well for you and as I said it won't take much time to get them on there. If you trust your kids to help, you can really get a bunch of them done in no time.

A few more of the balloons popped while being filled up this way. I think that was just because we may have poked holes in the balloons as we were putting them on. Again though, we got at least 100 to work each time so I call that a victory. I think all together, so far after using all 4 bundles, twice, we got at least 250 if not more, to fill.

The kids even seem to enjoy setting these up. For the first few minutes at least, they def. have a lot more fun playing with them, then they do trying to get them back on the stick. So they usually leave most of it to me. I have to admit that this is a great idea, Balloon Monsoon has a great product, that I was skeptical of at first, but now I love!

You can find this refill kit on Amazon by clicking here. From there you can find out more about this refill kit, you can see what other people are saying about them, and you can buy the original kit and this refill kit for yourself and your kids. You will be parent/aunt/uncle/grandparent etc of the year in the eyes of the kids!
