The massage roller stick is a pretty cool invention. It seems simple enough and even looks like a sort of torture device, to someone who has no idea what it is, to me, it looks like an angel. There are rubber grips on the ends and over sized beads in the middle. The beads turn but the grips sit still. It is all brought together on a steel bar.
The first few times, my husband was scared to push very hard because he knows what happens when I get massages and he didn't want to put me through that. I enjoyed it the whole time he was rolling it over me. He was surprised I wasn't crying out in pain. The real test though, came when it was time for me to get out of the bed after the massage. Usually I can barely move and have to wait in bed for a bit, this time though, I could get right out of bed!
I have to say that this left me feeling great. The fear of pain is gone and now I know that this is comfort stick. Whenever I get massages, I feel so much better now then I ever did with someone's hands on me. Now if only I can get my husband to massage me more!
