Silicone/Stainless steel salad tongs

I have to admit that I hate salad. I will eat, but I hate it. It's rabbit food in my eyes. Since I am trying to get healthier, I knew that salads would have to come into the picture at some point. When they did, I knew I had to make the experience as good as possible...with a great bowl, ingredients and a pair of salad tongs

This is a great pair of salad tongs. The only other ones I have ever seen, were plain and boring. I like the fact that these have color. Green is one of my favorite colors so I was drawn to this. Plus when you think salad, you think green so the color choice is perfect. Another thing I enjoy about these tongs, is the fact that they have silicone on them and they aren't just stainless steel. To me, silicone kitchen items are the smartest choice you can make.It looks better, works better, and cleans up a whole lot better.

I have used these a few times now. They grab the salad quickly and a pretty good amount of it as well. My salad hasn't suffered any. No pinching or ripping of any salad since I got these tongs. The only thing I wish, was that there was something attached to it, that would close them when they are not in use. They really take up space in my drawer and I would like a way to keep them closed between uses besides the tie that was on it when it first got here.

Besides that, I love them. They look great and people have noticed them. I use them every time I make salad which is usually when others are coming over for dinner. The compliments this gets are amazing. Of course I directed them to here, so they can pick up these tongs for themselves! Love these!
