Self Coiling Bike Lock

When you go out and get a bike, you really want to make sure you keep it protected. From cleaning the chain and just doing random maintenace, protecting your bike can turn into a job. There are other ways to protect your bike though, that are so much easier and a lot less work. A bike lock is a perfect product to have especially if you are going to a high traffic area.

This self coiling bike lock is great. It looks like all the other locks we have bought for our bikes, but better. It comes with a mounting piece so you can place it anywhere on the bike that you want. We usually keep ours right below the seat. Its out of the way and doesn't get caught up in anything.

This product includes a combination lock. The instructions aren't so clear about how to change the password on it, until you actually do it and then they make sense. Luckily my husband is great with things like this and he got it unlocked and relocked with another combination in seconds.

I love the way this looks on the bike while it is in motion. It isn't too big where it looks weird, but it is long enough to lock it to a lot of things. It also looks very nicely when it is locked to things. It appears to be an expensive lock at a cheap price.

This lock is easy enough that even my kids can work it and lock up their bikes while they are out. If we put them all in line we found we can lock  bikes up with the one lock. It might look weird to other people but it helps us out a bunch and the kids don't have to remember different combinations.
