Murder in Palm Beach: The Homicide that never died.

It's widely known that I am in love with crime shows, mystery shows and pretty much everything on ID Network. I love it when they get the bad guy. But I also know, that often the wrong guy is locked away and the key is thrown away. It's amazing how hard it is to get someone out of prison even if you have the real killer. Dirty guys everywhere from cops to lawyers even politicians.

This book starts with seedy characters doing seedy things, until one of them gets killed. We learn to hate all of these characters and you can't even give any sympathy to the one who died or his family. Then it starts to turn around, as Mitt spends his time in prison. He does so many good things in his time in the prison, from teaching karate classes to getting new tennis courts for the prison.

Since he was framed and the cops were involved, his appeals keep getting denied. Pretty soon he loses all hope that he will ever get out. Over the years his son grows and we really see how much he misses, simply because the cops had it out for him. When he finds out his wife has a terminal illness, the fight to get out because more serious.

Along the way, he gains and loses support as the case gets to hard and/or took too long for certain people. Finally he finds the lady that will set him free. But will he get out before something awful happens to his wife? Will they ever catch the real killer?
