Lavender Oil

There are many smells I like and can actually still smell. My dad and grandpa both lost most of their sense of smell early on in their lives and I followed right behind them. Usually I can smell kitchen smells the most, I love walking into a house where someone has just cooked or baked. It is like I am normal again!

Essential oils I can smell as well, they have such a powerful scent that it would take a lot for me not to smell it. When I am not melting wax that smells like food, I am using it to make my house smell like essential oils. Boy does it smell!

Lavender is one of my favorite essential oils and smells in general. There is just something about it that makes me feel so much better. I used this oil in a few ways. There are so many ways you can use this oil and other essential oils and I am sure I will get to them, but for now I will tell you about the ways I did use this essential oil.

First, I took a rare bath and put these oils into it while the water was running. Before it was time to shut it off, my bathroom was swirling with an amazing lavender smell. I have to say it smelled pretty amazing. When I sat back to relax I had a bit of a headache, by the time I was done, I was awake, feeling less stressed and the head ache was almost gone.

There is something amazing about taking away all your worries with just a little oil. You can transform your bathroom into a field of flowers. Everything just seems to melt away. If you need a great idea for your relaxing bath, this is it!

The other way I used this product as I mentioned earlier, was by putting it into my wax melter. I filled the tray with water and then put in a few drops. Before long the whole house smelled like lavender. The only room that was almost unbearable, was the room the melter was in. The smell was very intense so I stayed out of there until I had to check the water.

Always make sure you keep an eye on the water if you do it this way. It goes away fairly quickly. I am not sure if it is made to go into melters so don't do anything that I do until you google it and make sure it is possible. I wouldn't want anyone burning up their melter, or starting a fire!
