Inked Permanent Fabric Markers

I have to admit that I have always wanted to draw on clothes and cushions. We don't have much money so nothing would be ruined if I did, I just never knew what to use. When you get autographs from celebs, they use sharpees. Most of the time you can't ever wash the shirt again unless you want the autograph to fade or disappear all together. But what if you had a marker that would stay even when you washed the item?

Inked markers by Blackcat, are permanent fabric markers. They look and feel just like a normal marker but better. They fit in my hands just like a pencil or colored pencil do, so they aren't awkward and annoying when I am trying to use them. I couldn't wait to get started and draw on something. I planned on using a white shirt, but the money situation didn't allow for that at this time, so I used a plain light green shirt that I had lying around.

After I chose the "canvas" I found an amazon box and folded it up a few times and put it in between the two sides of the shirt. Next I pulled it tight, but not too tight, because that might distort the drawing when you let it loose. Tight enough though, that I could still draw on it easily and make it look good all at the same time.

First I found the right thing that I wanted to draw on it. Google search was perfect for me and I found the right thing in no time. When I did, I grabbed a pencil and drew the image on the shirt. I chose eyes and the word zombie. It seems simple but it was actually kind of hard. After I had it drawn on the shirt in pencil I went to do it in marker and thats where the difficulty came into the picture.

My shirt wasn't as tight as it should be, so it was harder to draw on the shirt with the markers then it was the pencil. At first I had a few start/stop marks that were bigger then the other lines on the shirt. I tightened it up more and I was ready to go. It still had the marks and sometimes the lines didn't come out straight but it was a lot easier then before. Besides, when it is your drawing you can do whatever design you want. Nothing is a mistake!

I know a few people who do tattoos in their home. They are great artists who can draw well. I have been thinking of getting a new tattoo for a few weeks now so I figured I would make a game out of it. Each one is going to get a white shirt and these markers. They will then make their own design on their shirt. Whoever does the best, will be the one who will do my tattoo They all know about it and they know each other so they are excited to see who can do the best. I can't wait to see what they all do. When it is all said and done, the winner will do my tattoo and will draw the design on another shirt so I can have both.

My friend is starting or attempting to start a production company and is looking to get the word out so we can get actors and crew members. Once he gets the logo he wants, I am going to make up a few shirts for him, so we can all wear them out. That should get the word out pretty well as long as we make sure to include all the info and we do it at either out fair or our 4 H events. I think these would be a great advertising tool!

All in all I have to say I love these markers. There is so much more I want and need to do with them, so I hope they hold out for it all and don't dry out. My seats and possibly couch are going to have some awesome designs! I think everyone will love these and they will have a great time using them!
