Often times I am very hard on myself. I know I am and can be a happy person in my own right, but I always think the worst of myself. It's not healthy to live this way, and I have begun to look for options to help me to control the bad thoughts about myself and what I do. I am not sure why I am so critical but everything I do, I over analyze and never think about the good parts about what I do in my life. It's time to change that!
Dolphins Don't Run Marathons seems like a silly name, but if you think about it we have all been compared to animals at one time or another in our lives. Plus it is fun and silly and it will get the attention of all sorts of people looking for a new book to read. I will admit though that when I first read the title of this and saw the book cover, I assumed it was a book for younger readers.
Once I read what it was about though, I was ready to jump right in. I know many people who run marathons and that play other sports. They are way to hard on themselves every time they mess up or lose. They are so pumped up before the race or game and then so defeated when something goes wrong. I can't say much since I do the same about everything in my life, but I really try and help them see the bright side of things.
This book will help you to find out who you really are, very early in the book. You can't be helped by it unless you really know who you are. Once you find out though, Dolphins Don't Run Marathons, will help you find your happiness. It's down inside of you just waiting to pounce out! Never run another marathon or play another game, until you read this book!
