Some people say their pet is picky. I have to say mine is not. She will out of anything I put food in and she loves it. Its probably not the best way to go, but at least I know if we were ever traveling and she needed to eat out of something out of the norm, that she would. Her main bowls, are a few years old and they aren't even dog bowls..like I said though she still eats and drinks out of them. When I first got her she was 6 weeks old and scared of everything around her and would only eat out of certain things. Now that she has grown up though it is so much easier. I am glad I don't have a picky dog..dog food though...thats a different story for another time. lol
When I heard that these were stainless steel I got really excited. I knew that they would look so much better then what we are using now. They look and feel well made in my hands. The only thing I noticed was that the bottom of the bowl itself pops up and down sometimes in my hands but it hasn't happened while she was eating so she hasn't been scared off by that yet and its not really something to worry about. They are still well made and the food stays in as it should.
As soon as I got these I washed them up. They do include stickers on the inside which are glued on and they took a bit to clean up. That glue does not like to come off! After that I sat them by her so she could sniff them out and see what she thought of them. I believe her only thought was "Why is mom giving me empty bowls." After that I put in her food and water and waited for her to see them.
Walking into the kitchen with her tail wagging, she found her new bowls and she was in heaven. She started eating out of them right away. She almost ate to fast. The drinking was way too fast of course and she got some down onto the pan we put the bowls on. But it also got underneath the rubber grips on the bottoms of the bowls. The grips look good, but they could probably enclose a lot of germs inside which might not be good for your dog. I will probably just end up taking them off of there. They sit on a pan as I said, so they won't mark up our floor. I even set them on the floor and tried to get them to scratch and couldn't!
These are nice bowls. Guests have even commented. They are big enough for her food and water to sit in but shallow enough that she doesn't have to put her whole head in there. I really like these and I love how well they look in my kitchen. If you need some awesome dog bowls, then these might be the bowls for you and your dog!
