When we look back in history, a large number of people in power, did some very horrible things to not only other people, but their own people as well. We may not like to talk about those points in history, but they did happen and there is no way and no point in denying them. They are just the black sheep moments in history.
I have to say, I never thought I would like stories that were true real life events. I am more a mystery horror person, but since I have been reviewing items here on my blog, I have gotten a lot of ebooks to review, mostly from Nave and Ebookpro. I appreciate them for widening my array of books! Some have been hard to read and others were a delight! I have to say this one is a mixture of both. Not hard to read in the sense that it was long or boring, but hard to read because you can really sense the pain and all the emotions.
One of the best survivor stories I have read (since I started reading them). The words are so powerful and it seriously feels like you are going through everything in the book with them. It's crazy to feel so emotional just reading pages, but that is exactly how I felt. I even shed a few tears. You come to think that you know this survivor and you wish you could have been there to help her. No better joy then realizing that she made it through it all and now you get to read it straight from her mouth!
I think this is a very powerful and awesome book! If you think this is something you would like, then head on over to Amazon by clicking here. From there you can find out more about the book, see what other people are saying about it, and buy a copy for yourself!
I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion/review/feedback.
