Black Derby Hat

No matter how old you are, you are never too old to dress up. Halloween isn't the only time you can dress up either. Some people like to dress up in other ways..like role play, either with your kids or with your spouse. We all want to be someone else sometimes, costumes only help us get there.

When it comes to costume hats, they can either be a hit or miss. Since they are just for show and not for every day, they are often mass produced and not made very well. This derby hat though, seems to be made better then the ones I have seen. Everything seems to be well put together, there aren't strings hanging out anywhere either, and it actually looks really nice. I am sure if you squished it, it would be ruined, but the way it is right now it is very nice.

My hubby, kids, and I have worn this hat many times since I got it. It is just a little big for their heads, but fits pretty well on mine. I guess i have a bigger head then they do. My husband and I haven't taken it into the bedroom for any role play, but the kids use it for dress up and when they put on "plays" for us. They have a lot of fun with it!
