I could not wait for this to arrive. When it finally did, I was hoping that it would be big enough to fit comfortably over my knee. It looked like it was made well, the straps were pretty long and big. It is easy to get around my leg, as well. I love the gel looking inside to it.
The first time I put on the knee brace, I noticed that the middle strap was alot shorter then the other straps. When I tried to place it directly onto my knee, the velcro itched and scratched up my leg. So I instantly moved it over the top of my pants. It looked stupid, but, it works and it doesn't hurt. You do have to close it rather tight though, since the middle strap is so short. I end up having to take it off and on throughout the day, just trying to get it comfortable. When I do get it to where it feels ok, it works so well. I feel support and my knees don't hurt as much anymore!
The ankle support though...I have to admit, that this thing took me a LONG time to figure out how to put it on. Longer then it probably should of. But these don't come with any instructions, you have to figure it out for yourself. When I finally did figure it out, I was just like the knee brace, I couldn't put it right on the skin or else it itched and hurt. So I stuck it over my sock, and it did help a lot. The pain wasn't so bad and I could still move around and get my shoes on.
