My kid's love weird books. Ones, that are out of the norm, so I thought this book would be perfect for them. Just the title and the cover alone made them perk up their ears and eyes and pay attention to what I was telling them. I decided to read this first myself and then let the kids read it. I love reading books with them or listening to them read, but I will often miss important things this way so I changed it up this time.

Basically poor Max gets replaced in his uncle's wedding and he is not happy about it at all. So he sets out to get revenge no matter what it takes. Even though Max is out for revenge on his aunt, you can tell what a special boy he is. Everything is a competition with him and his brother and you can tell just how fun and amazing his life is.

I think this book is very well written and appeals to people of a wide range of ages. Parents will accept it for their kids and can read it as well. I enjoyed this book and so did my kids. Will for sure be on the lookout for more books like this. Not only did it get them some extra reading practice, it also got them thinking, talking, and imagining, which is always a plus.
