When you are trying to conceive, it seems like nothing will help. It can be very frustrating and make you think that it will never happen. Ovulation tests just seem so expensive and confusing. I mean how many people can say they really know how those things work? I honestly had no idea about them before I reviewed them, and even now, I may not be using them correctly.
They came quickly. The box was interesting and just like the ones they use for their pregnancy tests. Which by the way were added into this box as well. Just a couple which is nice because if you use these tests correctly then you will need a pregnancy test at the end of your adventure..hopefully! Anyway back to the product, they were packaged pretty well, the box was in tact. The writing was big enough to read and the font was a great choice.
When I got out the directions though, it was like I was reading some foreign language. Test on this day..don't test on this day..do this don't do that. There was just so much to read and think through. I would have been much better off if they had just put a paper in the box that said test on a certain day either during or after your period. Like I said, as a tom boy, and someone who never had problem conceiving, I never knew anything about ovulation and never wanted to. After some googling, I finally figured out how to use this product.
I haven't had a test saying I was ovulating...yet. I am not sure if the tests are flukes, or if I am still not doing this right. There is always the option that I am not ovulating anymore as well. None of them are answers that I want to accept. So..even though I didn't get a positive, I can tell you how to use these (what I am sure of lol) and how to read them. All I did, was pee in a small clean cup. I then opened up one of the tests and held it in for about 10 seconds maybe a little less, put the cap back on and sat it down. Thats basically all you do and then you wait. Like I said, when you are suppose to do it is pretty confusing to me. I know that everyone is going to read this and think I am stupid..oh well. I really don't get how ovulation works. Now when it comes to reading the tests, that can get confusing as well. There are lines and even though the lines may be dark on both sides, the colors of the lines have to match up and be in sync and sing a little song and dance for it to read positive.
In the end, these are good tests, if you know how to use them. The instructions on when to use the product are confusing if you have no idea about ovulation...like me. If you know when to use them though, you will be golden. I also got confused on reading the tests. There needs to be a better way. It is so confusing to read these tests. An excited possibly ovulating woman, might mistake the lines as a positive when in fact the colors are a bit different and it is actually a positive. It's safe to say that I have mixed reviews on this one.
