Half Assed Health e-book and giveaway

When it comes to working out, there are many words I have heard along with workout, Half assed is not one of them. I was so interested in reading this book. The title just pulls you in and makes you want to know what it is all about.


I have to say, I love the way this book is written. You are being instructed on how to live a healthier life, but you are only being told Half Assed. It's more of a "do it if you remember or if you can and don't if you can't." I like that i'm not being told what to do, I am just receiving the tips I could use to get healthy.

There are many great points in this book, here are a few that I really liked:

Walk walk walk. if the store isn't too far away, walk instead of driving there. Walking is simple enough for everyone to do.

Full body workout every time you go to the gym, that way you don't have to remember what body parts you worked out the last time you were at the gym.

The reason you get sore from workouts, is because the liver is cleaning out acids from your muscles. Take care of your liver by drinking plenty of water to help it filter and process your food.

AlwayInstead of counting reps. use words. Make up an affirmation sentence and say it instead of counting. Something like, I am beautiful, I can have my dream body!

Stop eating too much. Don't starve yourself, but just eat less then what you want. Protein is important after you workout. If you are going to eat something unhealthy, eat something healthy with it. Don't eat white bread, If you want pizza, get it with veggies on it. Make better choices if you eat out. reduce sugar intake to see how much better you feel. Drink 64 oz. of water a day. Start each day off with a big glass. will help with grogginess.
