Humanity's Global Era e-book

Have you ever stopped to remember how life was before the internet and all of this technology? Nowadays, kids as young as 3 have cell phones and tablets. When I was that age, I had a speak and spell. Growing up we played outside, finding things that could occupy our time. We weren't walking zombies always checking smart phones and the like. My kids have play cell phones. Which means they can get online, download music, and take pictures and videos. At no time do they have calling or texting features and they aren't allowed to take their phones out of the house.

Maybe its just me and it might be a bit hypocritical, but I think that technology has ruined this world. No one talks to each other anymore. I have seen groups of people sitting at the same table together at a restaurant, they are all on their phones and a lot of the time they are texting other people at the SAME table. If they aren't texting each other then they are on social media letting people know where they are and what they are doing 24/7.

This book lets you know that regardless of how we feel about technology, it is an important part of all of our lives. The world has been split into two different world, the real and the virtual world. Too many people are stuck in the world of technology. Never stepping back into reality for more then a few minutes at a time. No matter how interesting and important technology is, I feel we are too dependent on it.

I think this book is a great look inside our reality. The reality that technology has created for us. Sadly, we will always be wandering around like zombies. technology will only become more advanced in the upcoming years and we will become more and more dependent on it. Life as we know it will cease to exist. In the upcoming years, we will all be screwed.
