I have to say that I have a fascination with vampires. There is just something so mysterious and sexy about a vampire. There are downsides to every vampire, like the whole sucking your blood thing. But movies and books have sexualized vampires so much. It's hard to be scared of them anymore. It's so fun to see some scary vampires for a change. A vampire that could and would kill you in a heartbeat, not the kind that go to high school.
Any excuse i have to read about vampires, or read something that Rayne Hall is offering, I will use and jump at the chance. There is just so much flow, scariness, humor etc in all the short story books I have read so far. It's no secret that I am in love with them, I don't even try to hide that fact anymore!
This book had some awesome short stories in it. I think that my favorite short story in the book is, Reality Bites. I find the moral of this story, is never judge a book by it's cover. You may see someone as a tiny insignificant being, when really they are someone who shouldn't be tested. It also goes to show that just because someone seems trustworthy, doesn't mean they are someone you should trust and that may come back to bite you in the butt. Basically a baby vampire is trying to collect his insurance money and the lawyer for the company is not making it easy on him. After trying to use his vampire skills on her, she lets out a secret that he had no idea of. It ends well enough for him but not the janitor, left in the building with her...or did it?
All the stories in this book are really good! If you like vampires, you will love this book! Head on over to Amazon by clicking here. From there you can find out more about the book, see what others are saying about this book and the short stories in it, and buy it for yourself for under a dollar!
