Bash and Lucy Fetch Jealousy e-book---Lisa and Michael Cohn

When it comes to kids, they seem to be jealous of everything. My kids get jealous if someone else gets more attention, if someone else gets something new, etc etc etc. It's human nature to feel jealous. Some just know how to control it better then others. Children haven't learned how to control it yet and sometimes they get themselves into trouble or they make others mad with their jealousy.

In Bash and Lucy Fetch Jealousy, Bash goes through a lot of different emotions. I guess I should explain that Bash is a boy and Lucy is a very talented dog. In the begining, we find out that Lucy is the "coach" of Bash's team. she praised everyone and really raised their spirits. Bash eventually got jealous and wanted Lucy to only do those things for him.

One day, another team comes and wants Lucy. This team is a special needs team that could really benefit from Lucy and her talents. Bash feels anger and sympathy. He doesn't want them to take Lucy because she is his and he loves her, but at the same time he knows that Lucy could help them.

After going to talk to his team about the Lucy issue, he turns and she is gone. Fear takes over and the team starts to look for her. Eventually finding her with the other team. Jealousy came out again, when Bash noticed Lucy doing tricks that she doesn't even do for him. Looking at them all and seeing what a help Lucy was, he calmed down and they all decided to share the field and enjoy Lucy together. Just when he was feeling happiness, a little girl walks up and makes a statement that Bash has heard before.

My kids and I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and we love the pictures. They can really relate with all the different emotions that Bash went through. This is one of those books, that you can read with our kids, and then talk about it after it is over. About jealousy, envy, fear etc all the emotions that use grown ups, are use to experiencing, I have read many kid's books over the years. This book is interesting, a discussion starter, and I love how it is written. Kids can read this, it is in their language. So many people write kids books, but they write them for the parents reading them, not the kids.

One of the best parts about this book, is it is written by a mother son duo. I am not talking a grown son either, this is a 6 year old boy! No wonder it is written towards kids and in a way they will respond to, it is written by a kid!

Do you want to find out more about this book, the authors, or other books they have written? Head on over to their website! you can also find this book on Amazon, for the low price of $8.99!! Worth the read, the kids will love it!!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
