Dr. Song Vitamin C Serum
By now it is no surprise to anyone that I have gotten to try my fair share of serums. So far all the serum have been different in some ways and same in others. Some serums are runny and some are like a lotion. This serum has a different texture all together. I am not really sure how to explain it besides watered down glue texture maybe? It goes on very well I am not knocking how it goes on, I just haven't used a serum that was like before.
This product doesn't really have a smell so I can't say anything bad about that. Many of the serums I have tried have had an orange/fruity smell and I don't really want my face smelling that way. So for this to not have a smell I was really happy about that.
The product like I said goes on very well, it leaves you greasy only for a few minutes but after that it is a really nice feeling. I waited for a little bit and then I put my makeup on like normal and forgot that I had even put the serum on my face. My makeup didn't smear or have any weird effects from going on over the serum.
The product itself comes in a cute little blue bottle. I very much enjoy the look of it and the color. It is easy to see who made it and what it is for. The packaging is a bit plainer but I would expect for the bottle itself to be more glitzy and showy then the packaging anyway because that is what people have on their shelves, that is what other people see and makes them interested enough to ask you what it is. One thing I didn't like, is the fact that there are no instructions in or on the box or bottle. Just a card that tells you to go on line and look up the instructions. What if you are buying this for someone else and that person doesn't have a computer?? You then have the obligation of going online and finding and writing down the instructions for the person. I realize that this is probably just a way to get people onto their site but still with the time it took to make the cards up they could have made up simple instructions and then said something about "for full instructions see the site" or something to that affect.
After using this for a few weeks I did notice that familiar glow and I have to say my skin is a lot softer then it was before I started using Dr. Song. So no matter how many things I can gripe about, I can't deny that it does really seem to be working! If something works for you keep trying it, because the next thing you try probably won't. With so many different products on the market that claim to do things they don't really do it is hard to find one that really does. Get yourself a serum, this one is nice, and a good price. Pick it up on Amazon ! I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
