UV Sight

If you have a pet you have at one time or another had a smell in your home. You aren't sure where it is but you can smell it. You look at your pets and wonder which one had an accident or if they all did. If you are away for a few hours or for a day the urine may dry and then you have no idea where the spot could be in your home. It's frustrating and probably the worst part of being a pet owner. No matter how well trained your pet is they can have an accident. With cats it is also common that there will be urine around the box as well. I was using air fresheners and carpet fresheners to try and control the problem. Then I got accepted to try out, keep, and review UV Sight through Tomoson. I was pretty excited that now I would be able to find and clean the spots that were causing the smell in my home.

When it came I noticed right away that it had clear instructions on how to use it, but I didn't read the instructions thinking it was common sense. I couldn't get the thing to turn on at first and I thought that I had gotten a product that was not functional. But when I went back to the package I noticed that it had a small circle piece of plastic in between the end and the battery pack. Once I unscrewed the end and took out the piece it turned right on. After that I figured that I better look over the rest of the instructions and make sure that everything went smoothly from there. I grabbed my husbands safety glasses and turned off all the lights. I made sure it was dark outside as well because it says it works the best in complete darkness. I went to the room that was the source of the smell I thought and immediately some spots started to glow. I put items down around the edges of the spots so that I could easily find them when I was done looking. I figured I had better check the rest of the house and insure that there were no other spots. Low and behold there were a few other spots in other rooms. I marked them as well. From there I turned the lights back on and put the UV Sight away and got started on cleaning the carpets. When I was done I let them sit so they could dry and then the next morning when I entered those rooms the smell was gone. I had air freshener in hand and I didn't even need it. 

Now when I walk into my home I am greeted by the smell of my plug in air freshener and not the smell of urine or dog. I am so pleased to have found this product. Not only did it help me find the urine spots it also helped me to find the spots on the carpet that my husband had tracked in from his work boots. I believe those were causing smells as well. I am very happy that I could find all of these stains and clean them, I am also happy that this product actually worked and did as well as it said it would.
