One of things we like to do in this house is sports. Since I got sick I haven't been able to really join in at all but I still really wanted to. So when I got offered a sports related mission on Bzzagent I was over the moon happy to try and I got picked. It didn't really say what you would get and I was not familiar with the Fire Vision line of products from Nerf. I didn't want to get too excited so I refrained from going to Wal-Mart and seeing what all they had. (that was so hard!) But on the day the mail came I wanted it to be a totally new experience for me and my family.
When I opened the package I was excited to see that it was a football I just wasn't sure if it would really work as it said it would. I took it out of the box it was mailed in and looked it all up and down reading everything I could about it because I knew once it came out of that package everything would get lost (instructions, box etc) and as expected it did. I didn't show my kids right away because I wanted to test it out first and see what it was all about. So once it got dark my husband and I went outside and tried it out.
We had a blast playing catch. The glasses need some padding or something though as they hurt our noses and foreheads a little bit. Also with a big family 2 pairs of glasses can be a hassle and a fight starter. So we went to Wal-Mart to try and find some more pairs and were sad to find out they don't sell just the glasses by themselves. The only way to get more glasses was to buy more products. As a family on a tight small budget this is not in the cards right now but I will be willing to buy more like the basketball game they have but even that only comes with one pair of glasses!! I am hoping they start selling just the glasses soon so we can play as a family and have less fighting over who is going to play.
